it's allllllll about local residents, hence why the sound is consistently terrible

logistics of crowd control. pyramid overruns, fine isn't great obv but if act is on time etc and they pay, more doable. The Other stage overruns, crowd exiting now run into Pyramid exiting, it's already difficult when Pyramid exits, they stagger sets for a reason. Ego doesn't overrule that

I liked them but got a. bit bored, just releasing the one song for marketing purposes worked against them with me, I left to get to Rick Astley, he was bags of fun.

If what is reported here is true f**k her. Attitude stinks. Pyramid overruns do not cause crowd issues as they are staggered later for a reason. Other overruns do, so Bruce/Macca overruns aren’t the same. She should never set foot on the farm again. Imagine putting the Eavii in that position because you thought you should be headlining. What a dick head. In comparison Axl and GNR were early on stage and polite and appreciative. no one is bigger than the festival. and before anyone starts I’m a woman and a feminist but being a twat is just being a twat.

Their pumpkin katsu was very good too, too much rice for me but the rest was lovely. Other good stuff: Truly Crumptious was delicious as ever, had vegan pate and onion marmalade one Vegan chocolate crepes in the Park were lovely as was vegan gelato (carrot cake gelato was amazeballs) Goodness gracious tofu burger was yum, always a good staple with the lovely salad Vegan Pizza by NYC Downlow was decent Disappointing Vegan french toast was just chewy Lebanese Mezze - found disappointing and quite bland Vegan Chocolate crepe from by the exit to the railway at croissant neuf/greenpeace crossing was lacking chocolate

Sounds pretty perfect

Finally venturing into the thread this year, forecast looks decent but I'm with Fuzzy tbh, it's a few degrees too hot esp Sunday, hopefully the 'highs' might not materialise. My perfect fest would be 19-21 degrees, sunny with plenty of cloud cover, a few light showers, mostly in the morning while most are in the tent to keep the dust at bay.

What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury 2023?

Yaaaaaaasssss -
There are some other threads in chat about vegan options

Re: jumpsuit, you really, really need to think about a) having to nearly fully undress in a longdrop/portaloo, b)what the fabric might be doing/touching while you're peeing c)how much you may have had to drink. It's sound like a complete faff to me, especially when inebriated. So would be a 'no' for me, likewise with the sandals for reasons stated already.

This was a while ago, there was a chat about it in vegan traders thread last year I think, ultimately Happy Maki is at the festival, decide for yourself if you want to support them.

I've done the lebara trick but have an ee sim somewhere too so might take that
-
No not this year, they confirmed in a DM on instagram

Feels like some marketing shizzle only having one recorded song

Oh yes, I have posted this before but we take a rechargeable shower, collapsible bucket and pop up shower tent. They are pretty good, but fully charged use water up quick so you need to switch off while you wash and switch on to rise if you want to conserve water, especially if you are using a kettle to heat.

Fritter shack also confirmed attendance and same location

Unless you take their tents to put up, which we have done, I'd say it's a definite no-no.
