  1. BTW I don't condone her v recent lementable comments / grim statement. Fully expect her to roll back from it all in due course. Ignorance, baby. As Irish as spuds.
  2. "Can't Replicate" is a titanobanger. Top 3 best things shes ever done.

Soz. Reckon it looked epic tho. Reggie aint my bag.

Damon learned in 2010 that headlining again is a chance to be knocked rather than celebrated. Going by videos the Wembley show looks better than anything at Glasters this year.

Looked triumphant folks!! What a band.

  7. Lovely to see/read this thread. 20 years ago you would **not** have seen something like this on eFests. Thats not to say people didnt get emotional at the festival, although I do think the depths to which people experience the place has changed and their confidence in sharing their feelings on here certainly has. Bravo, folks. I'm an awful whinger at times. Three humdingers that come to mind - during The River. Stevie during "Don't You Worry Bout A Thing", John Grant during "Glacier"... a mess.

Yeh was a super atmos. I was there at 4pm and enjoyed every moment. Had a fair few of those dicey lagers. 😎 (The Mrs drove 6 of us back to D12)
  9. Theyve moved mountains to get people to play before. Long history of this in fact.
  10. The festival should do whatever it takes to get Kate Bush to "appear". I don't care if it is a truncated 30 mins, not on the Beeb, broadcast in from remote location or even that she might appear behind a gauze screen. She needs to have her moment on the Pyramid. The loss of George Michael felt on Sunday really crystalised the sentiment for me. Bend over backwards for her to perform. Do it. Get Kate Bush done.
  11. Mariah would fill the field.
  12. James Taylor would do bits if they want a similarly chilled Sunday apres midi buzz.

I can vouch for Dave's drumming on the night. Wonderful as ever. Most enjoyable Blur show since Glasters.
  14. Did anyone see Toyah? Setlist looked a right old hoot.
  15. Great to hear! Had kids with me at all but 2017. It can be SO tough (2016 an utter mess) but the memories they make and the sculpting effect the festival has on them are profound.
  16. Queens can be patchy live but when theyre on it, few bands are able to compete. No bands were able to complete this past weekend.
  17. Wild that there was no audio compensation for the huge additional space allocated.
  18. Awesome that they showed the Queens in full. Nice one Aunty!
  19. Argh jesus christ you hero.
  20. To anyone on this forum that chose the Queens over Elto you have my eternal respect - and enormous jealousy. I hope you sang your damn hearts out.
  21. First time all weekend I've felt sh*t about not being there this year.
  22. Oasis 2004 vibes off that. A mess.
