I remember Garth Jennings in an interview talking about having a meeting with David Furnish when he wanted to use an Elton song in Sing - and Furnish saying they were keen to have Elton associated with a kids film because whole new generations would grow up with him, and that Furnish skitted legacy acts who are too controlling with their back catalogues becoming irrelevant The Lockdown album is a pile of shit IMO, but Cold Heart is ok and comfortably his most streamed song on Spotify. I guess they know what they're doing!

Hyped hyped hyped! Saw him at Ashton Gate as a pre-teen in 2002. Gone through my cynical stages since and back out the other side, ready to enjoy him again as a 31 year old some twenty years later. Nice one!
