You've probably tried all these things but; wet cloth on back of neck and around the wrists brings core temp down. I've been working (chef) in a kitchen with a broken extraction unit all week and this helped me. I really suffer in the sun, (pale moley complexion) but massive sun hat, loose lightweight cover of arms & factor 50 plus an old school fan than I can waft some air around me.

Rain & warmth isn't too bad for a short period - rained solidly for an hour at Chems Latitude last year and ground dry by the time set had finish - the thunder & lightning added to visuals 😉

Back up Festival boots taken from back of van & checked for damage - sole of left is coming away from boot😬 silicon glue to the rescue - hopefully these will never need to see the light of day as trusty DMs are absolute units 😀 Physio started on buggered knee - 11 days to strengthen👍 Edit: now found a 2nd, more robust pair of back up boots under bed in van - 20 Yr old NorthFace walking boots, sod repairing the other pair!

Yes used to be Pop Up, I wasn't too bothered by the walk until I had this stupid injury! Good news from fracture clinic this morn, only have to wear splint for 3 weeks so 2 weeks from now I'll be in a much stronger position, and I've purchased a much more comfortable splint so I can get back to planning 😁👍
