    Sam Fender

I thought his Glastonbury set was unbelievable, been waiting to see him 3 years now as had 3 gigs of his been cancelled on me including the last glasto. Seeing him at my local festival in august headlining victorious and it seems like he has a very good following in Portsmouth so should be a great Sunday night
  2. Done 2 years of the spider and 1 year of Pangea and give me Pangea everyday of the week. That year they had the sound quality and even production (lights and everything) was class

    Kendrick Lamar

Personally for me that was up their with one of the best festival sets I have ever seen and I’ve seen a fair few legendary acts, Springsteen, pearl jam, Fleetwood Mac, blur, arctic monkeys, cure etc. absolutely flawless performance, had the crowd at the palm of his hand. Just absolutely unreal. Not for everyone I know but that’s my personal opinion. Felt like I’ve watched a artist at the peak of their greatness
  4. Thursday night in the glade was absolutely unreal i thought, spent Friday night in the downlow, some great disco house music being played with honey Dijon and horse meat disco. Then spent Saturday night at the gas tower fatboy slim Jamie Jones and a surprising set from Michael bibi after solomun pulled out which I was gutted about. Did anyone spend Sunday night at the flying bus ??
  5. All about Paul Heaton and jacqui abbot tonight for me can’t wait and Sam fender then off to the downlow
  6. Whole list of names playing over the weekend. More known ones would probably be Jamie Jones, richy ahmed, Archie Hamilton, denis sulta, mella dee, camelphat, eats everything, evan mcvickar, Patrick topping, gorgon city, eats everything b2b fat boy slim, Carl cox (playing disco house set, franky wah, marshal Jefferson. Honey Dijon, roger sanchez, dj fat tony, on Sunday night at flying bus I believe there is this event called animal crossing and djs that play for them. They plays some quite funky techno which I highly recommend
  7. Skream just announced he’s playing a disco set aswell in maceos where is this place ??
  8. Jamie Jones is at 230, should have plenty of time to get in and around there for a spot for Saturday night. Pretty sure Jamie t will finish at what 1130- 1145
  9. Tell me about it. Sums him up though with that slot
  10. Can’t believe they’ve booked solomun this year great booking even better that he’s after Jamie Jones
  11. Foals / Paul Heaton and jacqui abbot Jamie T Kendrick Lamar absolutely buzzing with the announcement today. only annoying thing too many clashes for DJs that I like
  12. It would be good I suppose if they got djs on the line up who play disco only sets, for example I remember in ibiza Patrick topping played a disco set and it went down really well same with skream aswell
  13. 3 djs is abit extreme hahah. But they keep getting bigger and bigger each year with the sell out shows they keep having. Like their own Croatia festival sold out in its quickest time yet with the same sort of line ups with a few welcome new additions and more upcoming DJs. Wouldn’t really call it a problem to be fair
  14. Glitterbox needs a day or 2 takeover at the one of the small stages. Like what elrow did in 2017 would be class
  15. Palmerston road which is right next to southsea common has plenty of bars that are open till 3am across the weekend Hong Kong Charlies, the monarch, drift bar, Scarlett tap, there is also Albert road (which is a short taxi journey but be aware there has been massive problems with taxis in Portsmouth atm massive shortage in drivers so the so called black cabs will be putting their prices up in anticipation) has plenty of pubs and bars suited to the music festival music scene which are open till 2-3 in the morning but again be aware bouncers are pricks down there on a normal weekend.
  16. Quick question if anyone can answer this. trying to get COVID pass for natural immunity but it’s not letting me do it on the NHS app. if I show them my positive PCR text from last month would be enough to cover entry into the festival does anyone know
