Not familiar with all the costs involved but feels a bit excessive. I get that energy etc has gone up, and hire for PA's and other equipment will all have gone up but it just feels a bit much. The big question is whether they are hiking by 20% AND allowing the same numbers in as last year. If the numbers were down a bit it might be more understandable

Sadly I think you are right, but it’s pretty disappointing the other options being mentioned are Florence, GnR and Eminem! I think the fact that AM are probably booked has scuppered it for them for next year as the balance wouldn’t be right for them both to headline in the same year.

At the risk of starting up the bangers debate again, as much as I absolutely love both of these tunes, they are most definitely not bangers. Love it if We Made It, The Sound - Bangers.

You are definitely not alone there - absolutely love that song!. There is no denying Notes was too long, but there was still more top notch tunes on there than most have on standard 10-12 track album. The main issue was listening to the album in full was too much of a slog. They played Roadkill last night - saw it on youtube and it sounded great - sounds like it will be played on the tour. Reckon there will be around 5 or 6 from Notes on the setlist

Lol - agreed Yeah - it's def not a popular opinion round here, but they would be a far better headliner than AM. You only have to look at Reading this year - The 1975 completely upstaged AM and it wasn't even close. I have watched The 1975's 2 appearances at Glasto in their early years - they were pretty weak and I can see why people were not impressed. However, having seen them 4 times since 2019 they have hugely upped their game since then - they put on a great show full of energy (unlike AM) I will be seeing them twice over the next few months so not that bothered, but would love to see them get a shot at the Pyramid.

Was hoping she would be there next year - looks very likely with those dates. Love the new album and reckon she would be brilliant at Glasto. Fingers crossed.

Album is bloody brilliant. 3 full listens from start to finish and no skips for me which is very rare. Love it! All the bloat / interludes etc have gone and it is way better for it. Production is incredible and it flows really well. The 4 singles had my expectations up - thankfully the other 7 have kept that standard up and possibly even raised it higher still. Looking for Somebody (To Love), Oh Caroline and the absolutely gorgeous About You are the highlights of the non singles. Even "The 1975" opening track has turned into a proper song (albeit leaning heavily on LCD All My Friends) Loving the fact they are going to play the album in full on the upcoming tour - cant wait to hear it all live.

Yeah - I have tickets for Belfast, but there are loads of seats still available. Same the last time they played Belfast in 2019, and yet the 02 London has 2 nights and sells outs really quick. Strange one. I'm seeing them on the 3rd night of the US tour in a brand new 5,000 capacity venue in Boston in just under 4 weeks and I cannot fucking wait after seeing this Live Lounge. Just watched it on iplayer again and they are right back on form.

Yep - agreed. Great set - they are sounding right back on form. When I saw them in the 02 just before Covid hit, they seemed completely burnt out, and then Notes came out and was a bit of a misfire. Since then I have been doubting whether they could get back on track, but I needn't have worried. Loving the new stuff and the new aesthetic as well - really looking forward to the new album on Friday.

Couple of Thousand at most on transport depending on where printed. Printing is really cheap - especially on quantities of say 150k - the unit cost is really low

Nah - easily under £1. You would be surprised how cheap print is. I work in a company that prints these sort of brochures and I can assure you it would be no more that £1

The cover price is misleading. I would estimate the cost of printing would easily be under £1 per copy so it wouldn't really save that much at all
