  1. There’s no cut off time. You can arrive any time of the day or night.
  2. That’s true for the caravans but my experience with motorhomes has sadly always been that you have to find a way to empty the aqua roller into the tank
  3. I don’t know if you were our neighbours last year but my friend Jules lent his to a couple last year who seemed very grateful 😀. This is very similar to to what he had: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Connected-Detachable-Motorhome-12V-Outlet/dp/B0B9SL6YVP/ref=sr_1_31?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.fONKcSy3Huj_vH9Wc6NQN3-uGljxEKFoI5aYoE-nlJWpuKu0tk_P4QPbXpl3l1vIWWt0x9d7Nz0DmJQfVHPM1VAUWrUvsAXklznHOSlS8mzSvYyL_pNzuGwTXVUmlvwk4SVJeIULUE3YNHOV9Ej3gK49pifJwVR3PokTgYOPYwi6lyWJDAIqo0iq84rV1eo__BYi_WZHBd5vQCTCcFP_EkeJaFzRZSJrGT3xIbuOex6PZsvBxC0GL7wG1By9_SrKV_rsoNLkXKh2ilMrzne5XQO8UQz1PMOupSMHA01Iiyg.f4ZisQhgVwCbszID1O3dMzVElMlNwCRgJp5jlS_4PFo&dib_tag=se&keywords=12v%2Bwater%2Bpump%2Bcampervan&qid=1713168822&sr=8-31&th=1&tag=efestivals-21
  4. We use one of these to refill the motorhome while on site https://www.amazon.co.uk/Connected-Detachable-Motorhome-12V-Outlet/dp/B0B9SL6YVP/ref=sr_1_31?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.fONKcSy3Huj_vH9Wc6NQN3-uGljxEKFoI5aYoE-nlJWpuKu0tk_P4QPbXpl3l1vIWWt0x9d7Nz0DmJQfVHPM1VAUWrUvsAXklznHOSlS8mzSvYyL_pNzuGwTXVUmlvwk4SVJeIULUE3YNHOV9Ej3gK49pifJwVR3PokTgYOPYwi6lyWJDAIqo0iq84rV1eo__BYi_WZHBd5vQCTCcFP_EkeJaFzRZSJrGT3xIbuOex6PZsvBxC0GL7wG1By9_SrKV_rsoNLkXKh2ilMrzne5XQO8UQz1PMOupSMHA01Iiyg.f4ZisQhgVwCbszID1O3dMzVElMlNwCRgJp5jlS_4PFo&dib_tag=se&keywords=12v%2Bwater%2Bpump%2Bcampervan&qid=1713168822&sr=8-31&th=1 Don’t know how it is with a campervan but with the motorhome the hole for the water is really awkward so this saves having to lift the (very heavy) water roller up to it. Been a lifesaver for the last few years.
  5. Thanks so much all. Passing these on to my friend now!
  6. Thank you I hope so - but she’s struggling to find a way to contact See tickets at the moment. Anyone aware of an email / phone number that works?
  7. Friend of mine who we accidentally purchased two campervan tickets for against the one registration has had two emails from See tickets today saying that there are multiple campervan tickets against her registration and so they are cancelling both! She only ever wanted one (but two friends purchases at the exact same time) and wanted to get a refund on one of them but See seem to have decided to cancel both without consulting her. Anyone else had the same email?

    Gate C

LOADS better. Last year we got stuck in the field (the one before the wristband checks) every day going onto site - for up to an hour sometimes. This year had no issues any days. Getting out at the end of the day was much quicker too. It was great!
  9. Yeah you’ll be fine. Just tell them you have an awning and a tent when they park you up so that they know to leave enough space between you and the people either side of you.
  10. Yes you’re right about the pass out process. When you leave the site at gate C (to get back to the campervans) you get given a pass out which you have to hand in when go you back into the festival. You also need to show your festival ticket on entry and exit at gate c so keep that safe the whole weekend. Anyone else can pass out in the same way - you don’t have to prove you’re staying in a campervan The main festival wristbands are given the first time you go through gate c - so on the weds morning if you’re an early bird getting into the main site, or whenever you decide to walk down after you’ve set up in the campervan fields.
  11. We stayed here on the Monday night last year. https://www.wookeyfarm.com/camping/ it was great although didn’t have showers so might not be quite what you’re looking for. We were also parked up in the east campervan fields by about 9:30am on the Tuesday and they were all set up ready to process all the vans from that time.

Yeah it was bizarre - you’d queue for an hour in the field on the other side of the road and as soon as you got across to gate c you’d fly through the ticket checks. We couldn’t work out why we were held in the field for so long. Agree with the point about the view from east campervan hill being really great though.
  13. This was our thinking too. We were at four tet for the hour before Calvin Harris came on and the sound was great - we were standing by the pizza place outside of the speakers and having to shout to hear each other. Then at 1am when Calvin came on it was like a switch was flicked and the sound was instantly really quiet - even after we moved in more we were struggling to tell which song was playing at times. So we guessed it was either a technical issue that only kicked in at 1am or a noise restriction maybe.

    Gate C

Does anyone know if the queues at ped gate c were any worse this year than previous years? We had to queue over an hour to get into the festival on Friday and Sunday and also queued to get out a few times. It was our first time in campervan east and was expecting a bit of a queue but over an hour meant we missed acts each time which was a shame.
  15. We are also picking up a van from the Heathrow area and have done this from there once before. To add to the answers you have above: 2. I use Waze but Google etc are good too. Just need to be aware of the height thing as already discussed. I got some tips from people here about routes to Glastonbury (and avoiding the busy Stonehenge road ) in case it’s useful for you: https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/239887-best-route-with-a-motorhome/ 3. Ours has an internal tank too and it can be tricky lifting a large rolling water container up to it so we use a pump to help get it from the container to the tank, see link here: https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/239887-best-route-with-a-motorhome/ 4. I haven’t found anywhere to fill the water tank before getting to the festival so just normally do it on site, but the idea of asking the hire company is a good one. I’d also definitely recommend testing the fridge before you leave the hire company - testing it on both the gas and the battery, and then leaving it on while you drive to the festival so it gets cool. It’s the one thing we’ve tended to have problems with each time so I’m always sure to check the fridge definitely works before setting off. Also if the company have them, levelling ramps can be useful in case you end up on a bit of a slope and need to prop up one side of the van when parked.
  16. Yeah looking at it again I think this is a good option. I’m also good with adding a few miles to the journey if it means staying on the easier roads. And then if something happens on the day with traffic I think I’ll go with the M4/Bristol route as my back-up option. Thanks all - very helpful!
  17. Thanks so much both! @BlueDaze you’re right about just taking my time and hopefully those behind me will be understanding! ☺️ Thanks for the local insight @parsonjack. I had looked at that option but discounted it because the handful of times I’ve been that way I’ve got stuck in bad traffic. But sounds like it might just have been bad luck!
  18. I’m picking up a motorhome on the Monday before the festival from the Heathrow area and staying in a campsite near Wells on the Monday evening. I’m trying to decide on the best route to take to Wells after leaving the m4 so that I don’t end up on a tiny road that’s not great with a motorhome or have loads of people stuck behind me because I’m having to go slowly down windy roads. These are the routes google is suggesting to me. The blue one goes down a number of lanes (eg Freezinghill lane and Landsdown lane) so might not be great? And the other one main one goes through Bristol. Does anyone know these roads well enough to say which might be the better route?
  19. Totally agree with @StoneCircle about the water tank. We always took an aqua roll to collect water from the taps while on site but getting the water from the heavy aqua roll into the inlet in the motorhome with a funnel etc was a total pain, and we were filling the tank most days during the festival. So my friend made a pump which plugs into the cigarette lighter and pumps the water from the aqua roll into the motorhome (via a hose) which is soooo much easier. Like I say, he made his but it looks a lot like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Submersible-Transfer-Extractor-Cigarette-Lighter/dp/B077KTK5BP
  20. We’ve always stayed in the Sticklinch fields since 2014 as that has previously been the west campervan field. I’d say you barely notice the gradient on the walk to the fields and it’s always been a really quiet area once you get past the cinema bit so if you’re looking for sleep it should be good for that. The two fields themselves are pretty compact so even if you ended up at the back of the outer Sticklinch field it would only take 5 mins to get to the ‘pass-out’ gate (if they even have that this year?). I don’t think I ever went back to the field once I was out for the day as we tended to allow 45 mins to walk to the pyramid and surrounding area and I could never be bothered going back once out. To get to the Park it used to take us about 20 mins (as unfortunately you can’t access it though the side so have to go down to Arcadia and then up into the park). Our favourite thing about those fields though was always how easy it was to get in and out of them as it seemed like all the traffic was on the north and east side of the site. So leaving on the Monday was a breeze. Not sure where the parking for Sticklinch is though and Worthy view might be similar in terms of the easy access - I haven’t stayed there before.
  21. This is really helpful thanks as we have only ever stayed in West campervan so will be experiencing East for the first time. It was so long ago since we bought the tickets I can’t remember them offering quiet or normal options - but did they still sell them like this in 2019 (for the 2020 festival)? Also do you have experience of what it’s like getting out of the fields on the Monday morning? I noticed @Pear_Cider’s comment above. Thanks!
  22. Is the latest version of the spreadsheet in this thread? Does anyone know what page number it’s on? Thanks!
  23. I’m happy to take the same approach as Outsider. I can cover the payment if I’m able to get in and sort out afterwards. Will just need a way to let the group know if I’m successful.
  24. Hello! I’ll be trying for a group of friends in the main sale (and possibly the coach too) so happy to also try for these groups if I can be of any use. I don’t post here much but lots of the info in these forums has helped me and my friends in the past so would like to help out if I can.
