  1. Yeah, sounds weird (guess it is tbh) but they DM loads of their followers voicenotes and stuff, so get memed quite a bit.
  2. Sounds like there is a new song with Baby Keem on the way, from a clip I saw of him playing the song at one of his recent shows.

She could've easily sold out arenas on the Sour tour, easily one of the biggest albums of the 2020's, which also broke many records, Vampire is already a pretty big hit for her, and there seems to be no signs of her success slowing down anytime soon.
  4. Watching the Travis Scott UTOPIA live stream from Rome at the moment, R&L really really need to get him booked again soon, what a performer!
  5. 2024 dates - 2nd to 4th August! Week later than usual.
  6. Interesting watch! Cheers for sharing.
  7. Funny you say that, wonder what happened with Dick and Dom, think there was rumours earlier on in this thread that they'd been booked this year.
  8. Same stage was at Wireless too this year, don't recall them even announcing it properly on their official socials (could be wrong).

    Tracklist for GUTS:
  10. In all fairness, it does offer a pretty strong alternative to the second stage. Loads of popular, current names on there - which will all go down very well with the average R&L attendee.
  11. I don't think that is what he is saying at all, I think everyone in here is in agreement that the second main stage has ruined a lot of things at the festival, and in return, a fair chunk of us regulars have found alternative events instead this year - we seem to just go in circles every week discussing this (granted, there is much else to discuss, until the inevitable drop outs happen). In terms of dance fans having nothing to do for half the day, despite it being true, there is no denying they still have some very sizeable names booked below the headline acts on there - plus, if you really wanted 3 full days of dance music, Creamfields and Lost Village are literally on the same weekend, so why not go there instead? I think what they have this year will please the GCSE crowd that have got tickets, and will be busy as previously stated. I am in agreement about the festival as a whole being lessened since 2019, but I guess it is something that hasn't changed for this year, and will probably be something that is flagged to Festival Republic post the festival in regards to (what can be assumed to be) lowish ticket sales compared to recent years, which again though, kinda unfair comparisons with the impact of COVID backlog, and of course the Arctic f'n Monkeys.
  12. Dimension is too later this year!
  13. Surely?? Although, if the K-POP video, and what he said at the O2 last year is anything to go off, might just be a stadium tour, with Wembley - if he does do that, can't see R&L being on the cards as well. But yeah, fantastic album. Him alone would swerve me to return to the festival.
  14. Travis. Scott. Get him booked now. What an album, beyond worth the very long wait.

    2024 Stage Predictions

I didn't make the template, but it was posted somewhere in here, but forgot by who, so can't credit!
  16. Yeah should be fine, iirc, car park opened earlier than advertised last year, so might be worth heading in early to get closer to the front, as it did fill up pretty quickly.

  18. Agreed, I was expecting something slightly stronger. Tempted with Elrow Horrorween and Màs Tiempo - especially with the WHP Halloween Saturday lineup being very mid, and just full of repeat bookings, then think I made it pretty clear after Glastonbury this year than I'm a big fan of Skepta and Jammer, hope the supporting lineup gets some decent tech house names. KNTXT is a good get too, but will be doing that at WHP, just because of ease. Think Paradise, WAH, Elrow especially will sell very well based on the brand alone. Not for me, but Bugged Out! is a nice lineup too, very interesting mix of names, and would make for a fun day.
  19. Was up on the website about 15 minutes ago, seems it has been taken down yet again. Charlotte De Witte and Andy C have also confirmed their shows a couple hours back.

  22. For sure! Guess I'm guilty of not going to the cinema as much, but defo gone more this year with releases like M3GAN, Cocaine Bear, Super Mario etc. Nice to see it busy again. Will be heading back soon for Mission Impossible.
  23. Saw Barbie today, absolutely fantastic - really wasn't what I was expecting, but really enjoyed it and thought the casting and directing all just worked so so so well. Already hoping to see it again soon, same with Oppenheimer (saw that on Friday), which I think could be Nolan's best film (need to see it again, and in IMAX to fully confirm). Only down side to Oppenheimer was its length, but think I may be in the minority with that, especially as I have a pretty poor attention span haha. Great to see them both doing well commercially and critically, haven't seen the cinema this busy in a while!
  24. I think Lil Uzi Vert will headline Wireless next year instead of doing R&L, especially after he pulled out last minute this year.
