  1. Threads going in circles once again, so I'll just chuck yet another prediction poster in to change the convo up again; does look like a pretty typical R&L lineup to me - reckon it'd sell better than this year.
  2. Dua Lipa is up there as one of the biggest, and most popular British popstars in recent years; of course she's big enough to headline Glastonbury, stop being ridiculous😂
  3. Even though it does look pretty weak, it is nice to see Download have two new (I'm pretty sure) headliners.
  4. Completely missed this... SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Lizzo, Florence + The Machine, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Jorja Smith, Lana Del Rey. Obvs not just for next year, but just in general as a scope- SZA- Massive artist at the moment with no signs of slowing down any time soon, very popular sold out arena tour, would go down well with the crowd and shift tickets pretty swiftly Olivia Rodrigo- Same as above Cardi B- Would be an interesting choice for R&L (especially when she usually does Wireless) but wouldn't rule it out, does put on a decent show at least Dua Lipa- Obvs heavily rumoured for Glasto, but don't see why she couldn't another year, cracking tunes and performer Doja Cat- Barely toured the UK, popular artist, would shift tickets fairly well I'd imagine Lizzo- Smashed her set at Glastonbury, on her next tour could see them potentially going for her Florence + The Machine- Not as big these days as the others, but I'm sure would please the indie crowd Nicki Minaj- More likely to just do her own things, but wouldn't rule out Miley Cyrus- Same as above, would be a massive get though, but she doesn't perform often Jorja Smith- Headlined Boardmasters and some EU fests, certainly on the smaller side, and could even sub/special guest, but defo a cheaper option if needed Lana Del Rey- Would be a very left-field choice, not sure how it would go down, very unlikely, but an option at least
  5. Wouldn't rule Fred Again.. out at this point, think most large festivals will be doing anything they can to get him. I reckon something like: Kasabian or Hozier Fred Again.. or Chase & Status (Live) and then a curveball of some form. Seems too soon to bring Jorja Smith back, then also, some of their bookings recently have been huge gets for them; quite a hard one to predict, but very interested to see who they manage to get for next year.
  6. another festival gone, such a shame!
  7. would imagine late november/early december

    2024 Headliners Poll

None are 100%'s for me, but the ones I put I'd very likely likely see - but all dependant on clashes. Only 100% for me isn't on there and that is Rihanna.
  9. Not much announced so far, but for anyone interested...

    Dua Lipa

    Very excited for this
  11. Have started the spreadsheet again for next year, will post in due course once more stadium tours are announced.
  12. Expecting him to pop up either here or Finsbury Park.
  13. Adding to the Nicki Minaj chat, she's also rumoured for BST Hyde Park - no concrete info though currently. Think tour news is coming next month as the album has been delayed to December (presumably because of 1989 TV), so that should hopefully give an idea of where abouts she will be performing next year.

  15. I think Doja at this point would be MSE or bust
  16. The average person though... It's like Drake releasing a Honestly, Nevermind - a house album, doesn't mean he's a house artists. He's still a rapper. I don't think you are getting our points here. Yes Postie has branched out to different genres, nobody here is denying that; especially with the most recent release, however, the average R&L attendee will almost certainly say he's a rapper, that is how he became a household name in the first place, plus, AUSTIN did kinda flop by Post Malone's standards.

    Taylor swift

I love it, solid album tbh. Still in rotation for me.
  18. He's still primarily associated with rap, if you asked 100 people what genre is Post Malone, I guarantee the majority would say rap.
  19. Even on his own Spotify profile, Post Malone is described as rap lol. Yes he branches out into other genres, but rap is what he is primarily associated with. No different to Harry Styles having songs with an indie/rocky sound; still doesn't make him a rockstar, he's a popstar.

    2024 Headliners

BST Hyde Park is AEG, not to say there won't be crossover though.

  23. this thread never fails to make me laugh
  24. Have to agree, wasn't there in 2013, but thought he was awful at Reading in 2017, you certainly didn't miss much!
