  1. Okay agreed. Friday was dreadful and Sunday not much better.
  2. Nonsense. Two of the best acts ever to play on the Pyramid. Jay-Z was genuinely one the best acts I've seen in over 20 Glastonbury's and Amy Winehouse. Even better that they were on one after the other.
  3. Opinions differ, that's cool, but I'd argue that it's by far the worst curated stage and has been for a long time. Their biggest problem is the running order, e.g. that ex Beatle chap should have been in the legends slot. To be fair the other two headliners this year were correct.
  4. Bit off topic, but with ticket purchasing seemingly being a lottery, how do people manage to keep coming back year after year? I don't have this issue as I get an email every Jan asking if I want to work this year.

Never going to happen. Anyway Chemical Brothers, Faithless or Justice would be loads better.
  6. My hopes for next year are pointless really. Not going to mention any specific acts, just don't book any folk/folk rock, MOR rock (or any rock), boring legacy acts or irrelevant has beens for the main stages. Stick to relatively contemporary lively dance-able acts, and get the running order right, i.e. getting more lively throughout the day.
  7. Yes, there are several public footpaths through the site.

The Chemical Brothers were offered the Pyramid last time they played Glastonbury. They said they prefer The Other stage and played there instead.
  9. Careful now, it might put off the bearded, sandal and sock wearing, pewter tankard clipped to their belt types. We need somewhere to corral them.
  10. Too many people on the wrong drugs: alcohol, cocaine and ketamine. Not enough people on the right drugs: cannabis and MDMA
  11. The Pyramid doesn't need changing, they just need to sort out their lineups, both in who they book and the order of the acts.

This should always be the case. Headline acts should be lively/"dancy" get you in the mood for an "allnighter". Only West Holts seem to know this.
  13. Am I going deaf? The sound levels on most stages seemed very low this year. You should really be able to hold a normal conversation three rows back from the front.

West Holts usually has the best sound of the 3 big stages, didn't think it was that good this year.

Koffee. Described as a reggae singer, songwriter, rapper, deejay and guitarist. Watched on her on The Park in 2019, found it a bit too "rock" and not very reggae. Gave her another go this year and came to the same conclusion.
  16. What about Shambala? Not sure what the land is used for outside the festival. What is interesting though is it's effectively an vegan festival. Of course attendees can bring there own meat and dairy, but none of the food outlets are allowed to sell meat, fish or dairy.

Same here. I had the same experience watching her on The Park in 2019. Thought I'd give her another go based on hearing her live set from Cardiff earlier this year. Didn't do it for me.
  18. I've been going to Glastonbury since 1985, and with the exception of the dark years (early 90's), I've never seen so many bad attitudes. I largely blame on a noticeable change in drug use, too much alcohol, cocaine and ketamine, too little cannabis and MDMA. Where were all the smiley, happy people giving off good vibes with positive eye contact?
  19. Dreadful line-up (somehow worse than last years). I've turned down a free ticket.

She was okay. Her entrance and exit were brilliant.
  21. I'm amazed that fires are allowed in the general public camping fields. The tents are too close and people are often very intoxicated. I'm also amazed that, to the best of my knowledge there's never been a major campsite fire.
