When I saw them at West Ham, they were on ridiculously early, so much so that I could hear the first song as I was queuing to get in!

Yeah, I hadn't thought about it like that. Yes, it will be ridiculous getting tickets next season if we go up, given our capacity. Had a waiting list on season tickets for the last few years anyway. Desperately need that new ground!

That's not why they do it though is it - it's so that people have to buy their own ticket to the match, rather than go in on a friend's season ticket. Clubs won't know if someone is under a banning order when they try to buy tickets or have a season ticket temporarily transferred to them, so it's not case of them having to approve that the person is ok to go to the match.

Exactly, I've never had any thoughts about giving my season ticket at Luton to someone else if I can't go. And there's no rules to say I can't do that.

You have to inform the club that you are giving your season ticket to a friend? That's ridiculous! It's your season ticket, you should be able to do what you want with it!

Could your friend not pass for your other friend, and get in with her ticket?

I’m struggling to comprehend how it’s less fair. Your chances of getting through are just as slim as they were before. But if you are lucky and do get through, you won’t get kicked out At payment and lose your tickets. Seems fairer to me.

Definitely would have been more tickets available than usual in the resale last year - three years is a huge amount of time for people's circumstances to change.

I would imagine outside of the real fanatics on here and on Twitter, no one has even noticed this change (nor will they they if it changes for the main sale).

Surely some of the reason in paying later is that people won't have to faff around approving credit card payments in an app while up against the clock in getting the sale through. I've got through at least twice in the past and had it fail at the payment stage, this has got to be better?

Yeah, I knew there was minimum pricing up there, but I didn't realise what a difference it made though. Is it a minimum price per unit of alcohol, so stronger stuff costs more?

They would have published the list the festival gave them.

The venue itself isn't fundamentally unsafe, it's about how it's been managed. As long as the operators can prove to the licensing authorities that they can run it in a safe way going forward, and introduce additional safety measures, there's no reason why it shouldn't reopen, even if that is under different owners.

Yeah, it just tends to be full on the flatter bits by the time we get in. Love the location there.

Always camped on Hitchin Hill, but think we'd like to go somewhere a bit flatter this year (as long as it's a dry one), as found it a bit trickier on the slope last year. Any suggestions for somewhere flat, but not too loud, don't get there ridiculously early, will probably get in late morning/lunchtime on the Wednesday
