  1. Interested in seeing Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer this summer, but given tour prices for UK shows are £85+ for standing, looking at European festivals as a cheaper alternative. From the discussion so far, do we think there is a chance they'll end up here? Would fit nicely alongside rumoured acts like Green Day/Foo Fighters/Pearl Jam. Also do we think that The National, Gaslight Anthem and Fontaines DC are likely to play as they're in Europe over the same time period? I'm based in Cornwall so travelling and accommodation to see each of these bands elsewhere if they play in the UK will add up to be really expensive, so hoping Rock Werchter might pull it out the bag with a chance to see all of them in one place and for a cheaper overall cost. Any insights or rumours on the above acts specifically would be really helpful to know whether to hold fire on individual tour tickets/UK festivals in the hope of the stars aligning of getting them all on a lineup like Werchter's.
  2. Don't think so with them doing their own gigs it'd bleed into each other's ticket sales.
  3. Gaslight Anthem are in the UK around this time for 2000 Trees. Would fit as an undercard act with some of the rumoured headliners (Foos, Pearl Jam, etc). Not sure how big they are in Belgium though.
  4. Don't think Gaslight have a South West date on their tour, so makes sense that Trees would take that spot. Probably a compromise that one doesn't eat into the other's sales as much by doing it together and gives folks chance to see them wherever is most convenient/cost effective to do so.
  5. Anyone know if they're still doing the free refunds on tickets if I buy now and change my mind later?
  6. Aha very true! A festival I feel comfortable buying early and even if I don't recognise the names on the first announcement, can trust I'll have found some new favourites by the time the festival rolls around. Saying that, Modest Mouse are my favourite band, and I know they've headlined before quite a while ago, but do we think there is a chance of them coming back?
  7. Didn't go this year, but went for the first time in 2022 and loved it. Have just bought early bird tickets for next year, hoping for a good line-up!
  8. The burger was like fake chicken with their own crackling and apple sauce.
  9. Agree with less inspiring or diverse food choices than I remember in years past - couldn't find a sushi role place that had good veggie/vegan options previously. Only thing I had yesterday was a vegan hogless roast burger with hash browns, but that was really good and would recommend to anyone going over this weekend
  10. Sound was bad on the right for me too, but got better when I moved back centrally. Yeah Yeah Yeahs highlight of the day for me, but also good sets by Amyl and the Sniffers (complete with downpour), Angel Olsen and the Walkmen.
  11. Does anyone know how strict they are with their bag policy and it having to be A4 sized? If it's a slightly larger bag that isn't filled do you think it'd be okay?
  12. Makes sense to stay with the 4 tickets per code limit, cheers. Best of luck to everyone else buying tickets the rest of this week and next week!
  13. Have folks confirmed that it's single use per code? I.e. once you've bought tickets you can't use it again for another date?
  14. Midnights pre sale for buying from the store (or filling out the no purchase necessary form)
  15. Yeah I wasn't sure if it was mine either (coming from Cornwall so either way it's a long trip), but pulled the trigger when I saw standing available and being able to go with a bigger group of friends for the same show. Best of luck to everyone else. If it's useful I was on AXS on my phone, got in about quarter past I think.
  16. 4 GA standing tickets for London! Much better success than this morning
  17. Waiting Room seems to be up on AXS
  18. Just been on chat with customer support at AXS and it looks like they're having a widespread issue with logins from desktop/laptop at the moment. Might be helpful if anyone was having the same technical problems I was.
  19. Is Liam Gallagher always as bad as he was tonight?
  20. I am currently! Might have some friends join but they're undecided at the moment.
  21. Iggy Pop is in London on the 1st July and then back in Milan on 17th July, so perhaps less likely?
  22. Surely Fall Out Boy are much bigger and would headline this outright?
  23. Anyone heard any rumours for the RHCP support? Feels a bit late to still have nothing announced when all the other days have a few acts already.
  24. Unfortunately can't go anymore this year and have a 4 day (Wed-Sat) ticket for sale on Twickets here - Buy 1 2000trees ticket | Twickets. I'm happy to accept offers too. I think they're sold out, but just want it to go to someone who'll appreciate it!
  25. Any educated guesses of who the yet to be announced support for RHCP might be?
