  1. Could Death Cab For Cutie / The Postal Service fit this? Bringing their album tours to the UK at some point and just been announced in Portugal in late August
  2. Big fan of both bands, so might be slightly biased, but feel they could maybe be slightly too big for it. Hard to translate popularities across countries but they just headlined Riot Fest in the US doing the same anniversary tour. Feel like they're the kind of act that might be more popular here than on the continent. Also not sure if that they are quite a genre fit? Feel like they're probably more popular with the indie crowd at a festival like Primavera or All Points East rather than the heavier/punkier lineups of 2000 Trees. I reckon it'll probably end up being a standalone show at Gunnersbury Park or maybe All Points East (as one of their smaller days).
  3. Yeah agree I'm not 100% sure on the size. Obviously a bigger deal stateside where they've done the tour and headlined at places like Riot Fest. I'm a big fan, so am probably biased, but figure with a well curated undercard they could do APE, but maybe Gunnersbury is more their size. Do AEG promote those shows too?
  4. Frank Turner about near the timing for this
  5. Death Cab for Cutie and Postal Service?
  6. Would The Smile also fit the spot that's teased in that poster? Would they be headliner sized here?
  7. FYI, InMusic festival in Croatia also has The National and Smashing Pumpkins headlining, but is much cheaper at £80 for the 3 day festival. Obviously need to factor in travel costs and that depends where you're coming from, but is a potentially cheaper option to see some of the same bands. Will be interesting to see if they share the same unannounced headliner too or not.
  8. Any ideas on the days/placement of acts that have been announced so far?
  9. Will be my first time attending this year, really looking forward to it. Does anyone with more experience or knowledge of this festival want to guess at what slots the currently announced bands will take? Don't want to get my expectations up too high for what slots and left and the size of the acts to be added. I wasn't too keen on Sleaford Mods when they supported Blur at Wembley this year so hoping there might be something else on while they play. I've noticed they topped the second stage in 2022, so would they get a similar slot again this year? How do the stages work? Am I right in thinking the first and second stages don't clash. So does that mean the second biggest act for each day is the one who is second on main or the one headlining second? Still feel like Interpol are likely as they're playing with Smashing Pumpkins across Europe both before and after this festival. Would imagine they'd be the second biggest act on whatever day they're announced for? Grateful for any advice and insight, and fingers crossed for some good additions! Already the value is great for the ticket price and really looking forward to building this festival into a wider trip to Slovenia and Croatia next summer.
  10. Not sure how often they like to repeat acts, but The Killers? Think they're announcing UK dates soon as they had a sign up for pre-sale link going till Monday
  11. At least the Eden part of this prediction has just come true...
  12. Usually some overlap between here and Eden Project, and think The National would be brilliant at both
  13. Where did you get these from? Looking now but everything seems £100+ for each ticket.
  14. Any suggestions for the final headliner? Do we think it could be someone with already announced dates (QotSA for example) or more likely someone yet to announce shows?
  15. Would love it but not sure if they're playing in Germany before and then Prague and Germany after if it makes that much sense as a tour route?
  16. Don't think Taking Back Sunday have announced anything in the UK for their new album yet. Could fit? Would they be a headliner?
  17. Thanks, so you think walking distance to the festival is better and rely on public transport into the town during the day (plan will probably be to be out exploring museums and the like)
  18. Thanks, ended up buying a ticket last night, so will look into accommodation (think I'll stay in town as it'll be easier to explore during the day and mean I won't have to bring camping bits with me from the UK). Really looking forward to trying out a new festival!
  19. Seriously considering this for the first time from the UK. Any advice on what the festival is like? How is camping, or is it worth trying to find somewhere in Zagreb to stay (if so, any particular neighbourhoods)? Really grateful for any tips and advice.
  20. Has anyone had any presale code information come through for this? Signed up to mailing list yesterday but haven't got anything and meant to start at 9 today.
  21. Green Day tour will likely be July/August to fit in stadiums before the NFL starts. Pumpkins are already doing their own independent UK dates (with Weezer) in July, so don't think its necessarily the same support across the US/ EU + UK legs of the Green Day tour. Could see Rancid doing their own shows/festivals too in spring/early summer (including Slam Dunk). Think Green Day will probably be around Europe in late June/early July to hit some of the bigger festivals like Rock Werchter or Mad Cool before heading back to the USA.
  22. To follow up on these questions, what are the ticket prices like? What's the crowd size and is there camping or is it more of a series of outdoor city shows? Not sure if its worth starting a separate thread to discuss but imagine a lot of people here will have interest across both. Thanks in advance!
  23. In that case I'm going to stop mentioning bands because it seems I'm cursing them to get ruled out as soon as I do...
  24. Green Day and Pumpkins as part of an early summer EU run?
