  1. Yes! Marilyn Monroe will perform at Sziget 2022
  2. Son Lux have been amazing at PKP 2015, one of my favourite contemporary bands with my favourite contemporary drummer. Surprisingly they played Brussels Summer Festival in 2019 but I expect them to come back at Pukkelpop this year. Woodkid would be nice too and I'd not be surprised if Stromae and FKJ will be there too.
  3. We're all 99% sure that Soulwax/2many will be at PKP. Probably no Moderat. I honestly don't know about The Avalanches and Metronomy, both could be nice. Talking about electronic music in August, this festival in Poland announced some names today. Nice stuff
  4. They didn't even write when and where it is... giving that they're already playing BKS (so not likely for Lowlands), PALP in Switzerland (so not likely for Venoge) and I think any other festival to take place during that week except for PKP and Green Man (and ArcTangent but they're not their cup of tea)... That Sunday they can only play Green Man (in case we'll know in a couple of hours), PKP or have some rest. And we all know how much they need to rest 🤣
  5. Final lineup for Canela Party. Really nice for 65€ and it surely includes some names from PKP undercard.
  6. I would put every reaction but I can't 😞
  7. June of 44 announced a European Tour, May 19 to 29. They would be a nice nostalgic addition to me.
  8. Guys, talking about already mentioned possible headliners, Dua Lipa has 2 shows in Antwerp, 80 kms from PKP, in May... I don't know how strong is the possibility for her to come back in 3 months, but I honestly wouldn't put my bet on her. Instead, I know they played last proper edition, but it's been 3 years ago and they're a PKP favourite: Tame Impala are on European Tour August-September with no Belgian dates. They're not playing Lowlands 'cause they have 3 solo shows in Amsterdam, but I can see them playing PKP again. Are BMTH too big to be a Marquee headliner? They're not headlining Lowlands as well as Liam (perfect sub for Arctic Monkeys?). And what about Stromae, big enough to co-headline (maybe with Tame Impala or some younger name)? Iggy has a lot of European dates and none in Belgium. I think he's a serious possibility (Main early evening or Marquee head). Then I think that, between the bigger names, in addition to Lowlands and Rock en Seine ones (I can easily see The Opposites, Soulwax, Balthazar, Yungblud and James Blake quite high on the bill), we'll mostly get some pop/urban/dance artists for the younger crowd and a few surprises (The Chems???). I'm more interested in the undercard but I think PKP will probably have these big names + a few more ones.
  9. Some nice additions to Rock En Seine including Soulwax, Frank Carter, Aldous Harding, Nu Genea and a few others. I see almost all as very likely
  10. Switzerland, PKP weekend, names announced few days ago.
  11. I agree with you about this strange lack in communication... The band itself didn't announce any date until now. Maybe they're just rescheduling their tour and so they've only been moved from Werchter to Pukkelpop, Graspop or another Belgian festival, but I honestly think it's just a matter of days and they will be pulled off the other festival they have been announced by.
  12. I think they're just waiting to announce a good replacement
  13. So, all the headliners are from Europe/UK. Comprehensible. PS: let's use the 2022 thread 🙂
  14. the news about Josh Homme + they've been officially pulled out from Rock Werchter a few days ago due to "change in tour plans" (= not in Europe in July)
  15. and removed Queens of the Stone Age due to change in their tour plan. @Ken19 do you know something about this?
  16. Shame have no Portugal dates this year and they're playing in France during that weekend. They could be another nice addition.
  17. sure they are, as well as Black Country New Road almost confirmed by Joao Carvalho himself. I also see as very likely 4-5 names between Aldous Harding, Tinariwen, Kevin Morby, Lucy Dacus, The Weather Station, Nilufer Yanya, Porridge Radio, Yard Act, Moor Mother, Los Bitchos, Circuit Des Yeux. 11 international names should be missing and I think 6-7 will be between these ones. From 2020 poster we don't know much about Soulwax (playing BKS in June) and Explosions in the Sky (no dates announced yet) and we know that Mac DeMarco 99% won't be here. I'd also rule out the bands who are playing Porto like Khruangbin and Black Midi. A few more surprises left, including maybe a couple of quite big acts. Very good program for my tastes anyway, I'll probably be here.
  18. Florence + The Machine announced for Flow/Oya. Possible headliner?
  19. Guys, I'll be 40 in 2 months and you're scaring me about coming back on track after 2 years off 😅
  20. Sure, you're all right guys. But this doesn't change the fact that in many Countries outside UK Biffy Clyro are not considered a big act (I attended at their show at NOS Alive a few years ago and they had an afternoon slot before Robert Plant, Pixies and Chemical Brothers). Greta Van Fleet instead are considered a mainstream rock act since their first album here in Italy. I don't know anywhere else 'cause I'm totally not interested in them but that's it 😁
  21. One thing I learned from going to international festivals during years is that my perception on something is not World's perception. In this moment, with last Biffy's album released in October and last GVF in April: Spotify GVF 3.3M monthly listeners, 1.9 M followers Biffy 1.6M monthly listeners, 600k followers Instagram GVF 1+M followers Biffy 200k followers Youtube GVF last videoclip 7.5M views Biffy last videoclip 500k views I honestly don't understand all this hype around Greta Van Fleet but here in Italy they're a lot more popular than Biffy Clyro.
  22. maybe they hate beer, chocolate and french fries.
  23. yes, they're touring... North America during Pukkelpop. Very strange if we won't see The Strokes in any of the Belgian festivals.
  24. Expecting some of them to tour Europe in late summer and I see some PKP stuff here
