  1. It's in and out for me. Can get it in front of the shops if you're looking directly at the Woods stage but as soon as you are past the bar it completely drops out. Rest of the site is largely ok but never great. Every year I think it will be better and that someone will have randomly chucked another mast up nearby.
  2. Yes, they are there ready for when the wristband exchange opens.
  3. Was that the year it absolutely shat it down on the Friday for about 2 hours? I remember the first year being a bit damp but there was hardly anyone there so the ground was largely fine apart from a couple of the main walkways. Other than that it's never been particularly bad that I can remember.
  4. Showers are a breeze if you go in the afternoon. Never understood why people queue for ages in the morning. Camping isn't that raucous but like any festival there will be some people who are louder than others. You can camp in quieter areas if you need to. If the layout is the same as the last couple of years there's absolutely loads of space in a field behind Family camping.
  5. I had a look on red button and their crowd looked decent.
  6. Down for the 3rd on this tweet. Seems like they have a lot of the right people behind them in regards to booking agents, PR etc. Singer does have a phenomenal voice by the sound of it.
  7. They are one of those bands who I have always been aware of but never knowingly listened to. Sat down the other day and worked my way through a fair number of songs. It left me wondering how they managed to get relatively big because it all sounded quite dull to me.
  8. Please not Idles. They've had their 5 minutes, things have moved on now.
  9. Unfortunately I heard that Grian single once and it was horrendous so that's a no from me. I'm hoping it's similar to before where they release clues during the festival. Was fun and kept people guessing.
  10. I thought they'd have a late night slot last year but it didn't happen. Would be happy with HMLTD hanging around and doing a secret set on Friday.
  11. Mountain Stage sub and second sub get an hour.
  12. Maybe, both doing after dark by the looks of it but hopefully not a complete clash. Would watch Avery though as not seen him live and seen PVA loads. Was annoying that he clashes with Osees at Wide Awake but it's Osees so they won out last weekend.
  13. Last Dinner Party are going to be big, so half way up the Rising stage does seem a bit low for them. They are signed to Universal, had some great support gigs. Would expect Rising to be rammed for them.
  14. Friday is absolutely stacked. Clashes all over the place all day there.
  15. Eddie Chacon!! So happy with that, such a great addition. Self Esteem - meh. Some good other stuff like Mary in the Junkyard, Mandy, Indiana, Minor Conflict, Sam Akpro, Aoife Nessa Francis.
  16. Would absolutely love to see this is a late addition. Kind of feel/hope those tour dates are in place for a reason...
  17. Saturday afternoon in the Big Top looks immense on that. Would you not expect Caroline to be on the Garden Stage? Would seem perfect for them rather than the Big Top.
  18. Yeah, but the line up is pretty much done for that so it was already unlikely.
  19. Osees won't be added. I asked their merch guy at Wide Awake and he said not this year. Gutted!
  20. First time I've been and was a great day. We got there early, were about 10th in the queue and the scanners couldn't read anyone's Dice tickets. Presumably this got fixed or there would have been a huge problem getting people in? Decent lay out, easy to navigate although felt pretty crowded in some places during the early evening. I thought the sound was a bit erratic, seemed like a few bands started late because of it and then had continued issues throughout their sets. I saw Mary in The Junkyard, JJUUJJUU, CLAMM, A Place to Bury Strangers, Model/Actriz, Arooj Aftab, Butch Kassidy, O., Underground Youth, Gilla Band and Osees. Osees were immense as always, had a great time down the front leaping around. Enjoyed seeing the Butch Kassidy bassist come flying over me while crowd surfing during the first song. APTBS were the most entertaining band of the day, absolute carnage with the destruction of the guitars and a performing a song in the crowd but with great music to back it up. Their set went by in a flash. Model/Actriz were very good, enjoyed Butch Kassidy too and will definitely watch them again at Green Man. Not sure what happened with crowd surfers during Gilla Band. Security seemed to hugely overreact to the first few, physically dragging them out the tent and behind it. They calmed down after a while and let people back in right by the stage but it was a bit unnecessary for a while. Getting out via the Brixton exit was a bit poorly organised. People ended up climbing over fences in the end as we all ended up stuck and stewards weren't directing the crowd at all. The crowd were fantastic. Seemed like End of the Road but in London. Will definitely be back again.
  21. Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realise there was another campervan field for non-settlers as we're always in settlers and I just thought they were all in there. Not sure I've ever been that far over the bridge in that direction!
  22. Campervans are all by the Settlement car park. The trolleys are probably about a 1 minute walk from the campervan field. They always have loads, I've never needed to book.
  23. We'll they've done me this time, normally heard of lots more on that list so excited to discover a bunch of new bands. I'm a big fan of The Early Mornings though. Seen them a few times.
