  1. Sorry are playing on the Friday if someone wants to slot them into an early clashfinder.
  2. Yeah, it was Wu-Lu who dived off the stage, messed it up and half landed on the barrier. Surprised he didn't really hurt himself.
  3. Moin are on Saturday which is good because they are the centre point of the whole festival line up and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about, haha.
  4. Beige Banquet are a good watch live. I've not heard of the other 2 so will be checking them out.
  5. This is the same weekend. A few already playing. Come on GM, announce Osees.
  6. We've been taking ours since they were 1, now aged 17 and 14 and they have had a great time every year. Nothing like the wealth of kids activities there are at other festivals but there's loads to explore on site, he'll no doubt love the art installations and the woods at night. The games area with table tennis and skittles is a great place to hang out too.
  7. I see they've just added another gig in London in November, sadly on a Wednesday and right the other side of London for me traveling up from Southampton.
  8. Yes we were at the early show too. Knuckle was immense, in fact one of the best live songs I think I've ever seen. I was tempted to try and just hang around in the room to see if I could watch the second show too! Can't wait to see them again. We went to see Wunderhorse last night and while they were pretty good anything after Saturday would have paled in comparison.
  9. Moin were incredible last night. One of the best gigs I've seen for quite a while. Playing through a fog of dry ice under spotlights they turned in an intense and spellbinding performance. They have to be in the Big Top, it would not work so well in the Tipi.
  10. Seems like I forgot all the headliners have been announced. Oh well. Get him DJing on the cider bus instead so we don't have to listen to the shite that normally drifts over the campsite at 3am.
  11. Aphex Twin smashing out squelchy acid on the Woods Stage would incredible. We already have a more experimental line up this year so he'd be the icing on the cake (although I'm guessing a very expensive icing)
  12. I've wanted to see Slift for ages so really hope they play the actual festival.
  13. Has anyone else on here booked to see Moin in London in a couple of weeks? I've wanted to see them for ages and thought EOTR would be the first time, but bagged some tickets for the early evening gig and am now very excited.
  14. Depends what you like and what you want to see. There's some alright stuff on there but most of the bigger acts are dull in my opinion and I've seen everyone else I'd watch on that list at least twice, and in some cases over 5 times. I guarantee that if you went to EOTR you'd have a good time. I've been to all but 3 of them and I can't recall ever speaking to anyone who didn't have anything other than a really enjoyable weekend.
  15. Pretty good. Gutted there's no Osees on the line up, hopefully they will be added. Some great stuff lower down. Juni Habel is a sweet booking, and very pleased to see Deathcrash there again. Looking forward to seeing Clipping.
  16. Gently Tender posted this earlier. Could mean they are playing, or The Big Moon as they share a member.
  17. I used to love them but most stuff in the last 25 years is just a bit meh. Also they've done a song with Sleaford Mods which is unforgivable in my eyes! I'd probably still well up and dance like an idiot if they played Belfast, Chime, Lush etc while remembering the times I saw them and the people I was with in the 90's.
  18. They are both pretty big aren't they? Squid sold out a 700 cap venue in Southampton last year which is pretty much the equivalent of selling out a stadium in London, haha. One of the clue coordinates goes to the village Beth Orton grew up in. She'd be a decent booking, latest album is great.
  19. If he does play then I hope it's in front of a crowd more receptive than Tirzah had, that was totally ruined for me by people stood around chatting throughout.
  20. Warmduscher and Squid are confirmed in one way or another, so that's a third of your 6 already!
  21. If it's Coby Sey I'd be over the moon. Can't see it but you never know.
  22. Whoever headlines doesn't really bother me, I barely ever watch them anyway. I know who boygenius are, just had never knowingly heard them. Just had a listen and they sound alright.
  23. 30 odd acts still to be announced if the number for this year is the same as last year, and no reason to think it won't be. Plus there's about 8 secret late night tipi sets to add, although some of those could be artists already playing.
  24. Personal Trainer are over before EOTR, going to see them at the end of May. I only just noticed runnner on the line up, not sure how I missed him before. New album out today. https://youtu.be/zqLxvg1TSqQ
  25. I don't know if capacity has gone up, I thought it had hit a ceiling a good few years ago? They tried to ban gazebos a couple of years ago but then went back on it after people kicked off, and the questionnaire after last year's festival mentioned them again. To be honest some people do take the piss with their camping villages featuring 3 event shelters joined together. Must be frustrating when you're trawling around the campsite on Friday afternoon looking for a spot. I remember before lockdown it was a struggle for late arrivals to find anywhere. It's definitely something they need to address but the limitations of site probably mean either banning gazebos completely or moving to a new location. The rush for tickets now shows they could easily sell a whole bunch more.
