We have the same plan and someone in our group has flagged this in the FAQs, assuming if a late arrival turns up and the lead booker meets them it'll be fine though?

I'm imagining a situation where we're all locked in unable to access the proper festival, with the passing festival goers throwing food and water to us like we're in a zoo, quite extreme I realise! 🤣

20 mins average according to this. My team have gone for it, seems like fantastic value for the showers and pitch alone, anything else is a bonus. Watch now as it somehow turns into mini Fyre festival 😅

It looks like it would be a huge struggle to find camping spots at this time so I feel for those who arrive Thursday onwards!

I didn't go last year and really enjoyed watching on TV knowing I had other festivals and things lined up post-glasto.

what is it people are thinking, out of interest?

I'm going the other way this year, after multiple Glastos of doing the drive through the night, we're going to try a mid/late morning arrival and camping in a less desirable campsite. The past couple have completely drained me for the rest of the festival and I'm not much of a day napper, so the non-prime location could be a price worth paying for a full 8 hours sleep on the Tuesday night.

Do these sort of sack trucks survive well at Glasto? I've never used one before but this looks pretty durable, could be completely wrong though.

Tested them all now, I tested these three. Mountain Warehouse - Orange Airbed This airbed from Mountain Warehouse is incredibly lightweight, probably weighing under 1kg. However, it's quite narrow, making it difficult to find a comfortable position. It claims to be self-inflating, but the inflation is minimal, and it lacks sufficient cushioning, leaving you feeling the floor beneath you. Rating: 3/10 Decathlon Comfort - Blue Self-Inflating Camping Mattress Weighing approximately 1.5kg and compact in size, this airbed offers a decent sleeping area, slightly smaller than a single bed but larger than your average airbed. It self-inflates effectively, requiring only a few additional breaths, and features convenient vents to prevent air loss. Nice and comfortable, far better than most airbeds. Rating: 8/10 Decathlon Ultim - Grey Self-Inflatable Camping Mattress The Ultim from Decathlon comes in a massive 1 metre square bag, weighing just under 3kg. Offering more sleeping space than the Comfort and double the cushioning, it provides exceptional comfort, akin to a proper bed. However, its size requires more effort to inflate fully, and it's noticeably heavier and pricier than the Comfort. Rating: 7/10 We've decided to go for the Decathlon Comfort, given the difference in price and size the slight lack of comfort compared the the Ultim is worth it, if you weren't carrying the kit miles to your campsite it would be the Ultim however. I've always camped in the Big Ground but am considering a change this year as my body can't handle the all nighter on the Wednesday morning. It looks like the majority of what we want to see if West Holts/ Avalon side of the site, any suggestions of where to camp that side of the site where we can still get some sleep?

Annoying he's on the Park, probably the stage with the worst sound in a big crowd! But as people have said, hopefully he'll play some other shows a bit more suited to him!
