  1. Some day that would be, although I’m sick to the back teeth of Wargasm being given a token slot. Something to rival the Foos 2019 day would be excellent.
  2. Hard to say without the other headliner etc, if they did a rock/slam dunk type day they’d maybe go in a few weeks? MCR tickets did initially sell out but tickets came back on sale from when it was first rescheduled until the day of the gig.
  3. Seen them mentioned a few times now, genuinely baffles me they played Stadium MK this year. The US Coldplay.
  4. Imagine Dragons shouldn’t even be in the conversation. Does anyone still listen to them, let alone school leavers?
  5. Has Paramore even come from anyone? Thought it was just people willing it to happen more than anything
  6. Certainly not logistically, they’re free that weekend as it stands. Just whether they’d appeal to the camping crowd these days.
  7. Blur and Inspiral Carpets on the same day. Bands like Shed Seven and Suede are still active, just have a full Britpop day
  8. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t play tbh. Had a look round this aft at what some of the rumoured five are doing around August: obviously Billie is in the frame, both Foals and Fender are playing EU Fests the week before/after R&L. I’d say there’s enough there to assume Billie/Foals/Fender/KSI/Greenday (or Killers?) are five of the the headliners as per the original leak we were given.
  9. Genuine question, why is he so popular? He seemed to go from playing FIFA to music to boxing overnight, and he’s no good at either of the latter. Not even meaning to sound like I’m shouting at could here.
  10. Willing to be proven wrong but it’s easy to say a headliner we know about has pulled out without naming the sixth that we weren’t sure on, or a replacement. No new info
  11. Blur’s dates are extending into August. Get them booked you cowards!
  12. Fucking hope not, if V Festival was a man
  13. Some of those would be ace tbf, TDCC were excellent last year I thought. Charli xcx, Polo G, Wolf Alice / Bastille, Glass Animals, D Block Europe was a poor mix this year.
  14. Courteeners would be good by R&L’s standard. It’ll be someone who we’ve either never heard of or someone we do know that’s getting a right bump up
  15. The other half’s messed with mine and somehow got Mouse Rat on there like it’s Pawnee Harvest Festival
  16. Should be before, Christmas sales sold it out last year so they’d be mad to do anything different this year
  17. Blur shifting 90,000 tickets in 10 minutes at £100 a go. They’ll never play R&L again but it’d be some booking.
  18. He definitely didn’t reference 2023 in particular, he said he wants to, and thinks he should, be headlining it soon if memory serves. It was part of a wider speech about how he’s grown to where he is now and where he wants to go from here. Absolutely no “see you next year” type hints but I wouldn’t rule him out either.
  19. That’s what I took from it at Leeds as well, he certainly wasn’t hinting at 2023 in particular.
  20. Same I’d gladly pay for a day ticket if they played but £101 for them and three supports I don’t like is too much, plus train and hotel. Shame as they’re probably the one big band I still haven’t seen that I want to
  21. I wondered myself but can’t imagine they’ll do Wembley and Reading in the same year. Also, can’t believe tickets are £100+ for Blur, wild.
