One of my all time favourite albums. I'm yet to find a better album closer than Donnie Darko. Very, very excited for the new single/album. Loved Rosa's track for the Cyberpunk soundtrack; probably the best thing to come out of that game tbh.

This one has to be a two parter... right?!

I've heard the official release date is 5th November and it's called Kid A Mnesia.

I'm backing a Wolf Alice day with a strong undercard to help prop it up, maybe with a paired "co-headliner" ala the Foals/BBC day this year?

Based purely on their Instagram caption from last week which ended with "roll on 2022", it looks like APE will be returning next year. What's the early hopes and predictions? I'm guessing, all things being well with the world, we'll go back to an end of May line up; would people be happy with that or did people prefer it over the August bank holiday weekend?

Argh, Hinds are doing a 3 nights residency in a tiny venue in London and I missed it completely, absolutely gutted.

1. Big Red Machine 2. The Killers 3. Chvrches MUCH better month that last month and had to leave a couple of decent albums/EPs out. Lorde not even making my top 3 in an AOTM vote is probably going to be my personal surprise of the year.

Point of Order for @kingcrawler; the new Keaton Henson is technically billed as "Fragments EP" but at over 30 mins and 8 tracks long, it's closer to an album length than an EP. Can this be included in our lists, or has Keaton scored a massive own goal?

I honestly can't remember what it was like in previous years, but I feel like APE buggered up a bit tonight with regards to set times. We left straight from Loyle to London Grammar; no toilet or drinks breaks, but by the time we made it from the West to East stage London Grammar had already started? Also not entirely sure how much we missed but it seemed London Grammar were only on for about an hour?

Hutch is absolutely killing me on the Big Red Machine record. So, so beautiful.

I got 6/15, only one coming after the first round... And even then, Vegetable was an educated guess!

Barring any surprise releases or debuts that blow me away, it was probably the last contender to knock Wolf Alice off the top of my AOTY list. Think Ellie and the lads have it sown up now.

Was going to suggest this very place. Love The Commercial Tavern, was my regular first date spot when I lived East!
