One of my friends hasn’t returned to Glastonbury since 2016 😅 It was her first and only one, so she doesn’t know any different. Shame for her really as she’s missing out (as we all know)

You may very well be right but out of curiosity why not 11th & 14th? Too soon after balance window? (Unless the resale date has been announced and I’m being thick which is a very real possibility I admit)

Thankfully we get a minibus each year as I wouldn’t fancy trying to use any of the chargers for my EV within about 20-30 miles of the site, suspect they might be absolutely rammed. Having said that even if you charged say 50 miles away that will be more than enough to get you there and back without needing to fight for a charger closer. Anyone that lives closer could charge at home beforehand and wouldn’t need a public charger.

Will 100% be paying off my ticket balance and so will the other 9 people I'm going with. Big event like a loss of job or family commitments aside I don't think I'd ever put a Glastonbury ticket back in the pot.

My god, I hadn’t even contemplated it could be the weekend. My mind went straight to “late Friday”. New horrors!

Being a pessimist, when Emily said “next week” I naturally just assumed it would be as late as possible in the week so anything before that will be a nice surprise. Excited to get listening to the poster acts over the weekend though.

Coldplay Sunday definitely feels about right. Having said that, I’d be up for them being my first headliner of this years festival!

The beauty of the Glastonbury crowd, we're all so different... I really hope they are. So many rumours it seems like they must be but I'm worried they were a smokescreen and I won't get to see them. I'll check in with you on poster day and see how many you're happy with 😄

Drunkenly last week placed a bet that Max and Lewis would finish in the points in every (normal, not sprint) race this season. Somehow only got 80/1. Still. 2 down...

Couldn't watch the match as I took the wife and baby out - it was her first Mothers Day so seemed only fair! As a result I can't really comment on the match itself. When I saw the lineups I thought we might be in trouble. Apparently we were in control for the second half and probably should have won but I guess I would have taken a draw before the game. Arsenal definitely the biggest winners from the result but with Liverpool having played both now and them playing each other next weekend it could very well change again. Great to have such a close title race. I think one of the 3 will drop away in the next few weeks and we'll end up with a 2 horse race. Suspect City will be 1 of the 2 and it's a flip of a coin if the other is Liverpool or Arsenal. Bet it's great for the neutral. I'd rather be 10 points ahead though 😄

How many bagel stalls have there been in previous years? When was the earliest one announced? #AskTheThingy (I really need the poster)

If we aren't going to win it I'd like it to be Arsenal, it would be good for the league. City are unreal but it's always good to see someone win it who hasn't done so in years (apart from United of course 🙂 )

As long as that halloumi stall to the left of the Other stage is still there we're all good 😄

Have to say this is one of the best title run ins I can remember for years. I still fully expect City to win it and their next 2 league games will go a long way to telling us if that will happen or not. I'm pretty sure City will win every game after Liverpool and Arsenal, just a question of what happens in those 2 games. What I found interesting is how similar all 3 teams remaining fixtures are on paper. All 3 have 4 games left against the top 6. City and Liverpool have 5 against 7-14th and 2 against the bottom 6, Arsenal with 6 against 7-14th and 3 against the bottom 6. Really could go either way.

The race - was really excited for the new season but it turned into an incredibly dull race pretty quickly. Max running away with it aside, not much happened lower down either. Hope that isn't a sign of things to come for the season.

What does everyone make of this Max to Mercedes talk? Don't believe it for a second personally. I'm also a bit confused as I always thought it was Christian Horner that Max was really close to but now it seems like it's Helmut Marko?

Yeah, was my second time seeing them in the stadium too. The first time was 2017, having seen them at Glastonbury the year before. I honestly think a lot of people who like Coldplay don’t tend to say so as they’re seemed uncool. Fortunately I have no such problem admitting it 😅 I will definitely be there in June despite having seen them fairly recently.

The negative vote for The 1975 has shocked me a bit. I guess it depends on if people are voting for what they personally like (in which case the vote probably makes sense) or if they think it’s a good booking for the festival.
