  1. Yes don't think there's ever been a Sunday night secret set on The Park but the Sunday night headliner is always considerably earlier than the other headliners.
  2. I'd have thought so but they maybe just take a year off lying when they are 17??
  3. Maybe we need to move to Spain it seems the whole population over there didn't lie. They rarely seem to get rain. My Spanish colleagues are always very jealous when I tell them about rain.
  4. Good theory. This year we said we are going to treat Wednesday and Thursday as the days to really appreciate the food line up because the rest of the weekend the entertainment kind of dictates where you are at certain times so we're going to try and seek out the best food stalls that we haven't tried on those days.
  5. The hills of Italy will no doubt stand you in good stead come June. I try to get out no matter the weather but recently I have been feeling a little Fran Healy. I mean yes I probably did lie when I was 17 because who goes a full year without lying but it was nearly 30 years ago and it feels like the level of punishment is disproportionate to the crime.
  6. That's Truly Crumptious.
  7. Ferris basically goes through puddles the way young boys slide around on their knees across dancefloors at weddings with absolute joy and glee 😄
  8. Yes they definitely help get you out whatever the weather. Well actually as much as she likes mud Nuala's not keen on wind and rain when we are leaving. Ferris will always go whatever the weather. He's a proper good boy!
  9. I think with crumble you can get unlucky if you get the end of a batch of a fruit crumble the fruit can sometimes have gone to mush. I also think I have been lucky to always go there when starving and cold. A hug in crumble form is always best received then. Which crumpet place? There are more than one. I thought one was mediocre at best because they weren't freshly made but Truly Crumptious I've never had a bad crumpet from.
  10. Try having 2 dogs with hair (not fur) who love mud. Nuala in particular has been known as Queen of the bogs most of her life!!
  11. Think the amount of time I have spent walking this year is why I am so sick of rain and mud. I have made soooo many sacrifices to the weather gods!!!
  12. Oh I forgot to update this at the end of last month. I lost another 6lbs taking my total lost to 74 lbs or 33.5kg for those who prefer it that way. I also managed to hit over 800k steps for the month.
  13. Well the good news is she has confirmed that she was asked and just couldn’t fit it in this year. She hasn’t ruled out doing it in the future.
  14. I told my husband the crumble shack news and he said it could be our fault for making them our headliner last year. He said they can't have repeat headliners that quickly.
  15. Last year The Crumble Shack was my Saturday night headliner and unlike Lana Del Ray it didn't disappoint.
  16. Tell him this is a poorly timed April Fool joke????
  17. Yay good to be reminded of how much more is still to drop.
  18. Seen a few good reports from this tour. Glad you enjoyed it.
  19. Aw no I've been vegetarian since I was 12 years old. I do my best not to harm them and feel sad when I see the ones that have not managed to avoid the cars.
  20. Yes way too early for panic stations and if anything, every day it rains means we must surely be due some dry days.
  21. One of the paths near where I walk is covered in frogs at the moment. In the dark I have to be very careful not to squish any.
  22. It genuinely feels like we haven't had more than a few days of dry weather at a time since the scorcher that was Glastonbury last year. Maybe I just notice it more because I have been out walking more.
  23. Getting CV tickets in the resale is honestly usually pretty easy and you'll be able to get a refund on your B & W one up until early May. See Tickets are a bit sh*t at the CV sale so usually people end up with multiples. Think the most we've had was one year one of our group got 6 tickets even though they say you are only meant to be able to buy one for a registration so there's always a lot of resale tickets. The same tends to happen in the resale so even if they sell out you'll often find in the week or 2 after resale that the duplicates get put back on sale.
  24. As long as we get a few good weeks we'll be fine especially when temperatures start to improve but I've never wanted weather to improve so much I am seriously sick of walking in mud and rain just at home let alone on the farm. It feels like the last seriously good weeks weather we had was last years Glastonbury.
  25. But to be on the safe side let's hope it does an about turn sooner rather than later mainly just because I am already sick of rain and mud!!
