We are travelling down today in Campervan after picking it up last night. The only way to fill up the water tank is with a hose. Are there facilities to do this on site? Wasn’t sure if you would be able to get close enough to the taps to fill up via a hose? If not, any ideas? Thanks

With all the excitement going on this week, I'm gonna take the opportunity to ask a burning question... How big can our tent be if we are in the campervan field? We have a party of 4 (possibly 5) and 1 campervan pass. Me and my wife will be in the van but our friends (A couple, one of which has never been to a festival before) will be pitching a tent next to the van, due to her anxiety of large crowds and the fact that this will be their first weekend away from their 2yo daughter, we thought it best to make a semi-tranquil area for them if things get too much. I've seen a post from a few years back but just checking to see if anyone has any recent experience 2018/19? They have quite a large tent (3.5m hexagonal) and we have a 7.4x2.1m campervan, we'll be in Campervans East. Any advice on how the stewards will deal with this would be much appreciated. TIA, I'm sooo excited right now

It's my first time going to EOTR this year, I'm going on my own and taking my (t)rusty 26 year old campervan along too, I was wondering - what time can campervans access the field/site from? I know I've read the site officially opens 11:00 on Thursday but I wasn't if campervans can access their pitch location earlier than this? i.e. Glasto campervans can enter the site on Tuesday whereas the actual site doesn't open until the Wednesday morning. Thanks in advance - I've also signed up for the Liftshare thingy through the EOTR site, I can take one passenger, leaving from the Leicester area, if anyone knows of anyone after a lift or another lift sharing website I should sign up with. Has annyone any experience of renting a motorhome or campervan for a festival? Going to Download and from a Google search it looks like there's some good value older vehicles by renting direct from owners via a site called Camptoo, there are others. Has anyone given it a try?

Hi We've got Glastonbury tickets for this year (newbies, never been before) but missed out on the recent Campervan pitch sale. We had intended to take our converted Mazda Bongo this year and wondered if there were any practical (i.e. reasonable walking distance) and not extorionately expensive off-site options where we could park the Bongo and return to sleep each night/morning/whatever? We will try for the resale which I believe is in May but just in case any other suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I booked Glasto tickets for 4 of us and we’re travelling in 2 separate VW camper vans. The FAQ section on the website says that there’s a max of 1 camper per booking. Does anyone know if I’ll be able to book for both campers as I’m the name on the main booking? Thanks

Hi, what is the cost of a camper van ticket? Is it one ticket per van or per person?

Hi, how easy is it to get the camper van tickets? I have juts put down a deposit, as the prices were getting ridiculous, and most were sold out. There is 6 of us travelling. I'm just worried now about not getting the camper van pass also is it correct that you have to carry your paper ticket to get in and out of the camper van site?

Me and a colleague have Glade Avalon crew tickets. (Doing Av and Cameras) We have 1 red route sticker and pass and 1 orange car parking sticker. Is that enough for 2 campervans? My thinking is that the red route pass is to get backstage but we are both happier being in crew camping. How easy is it to change this at the gate? Cheers peeps X

Hi, can I just check something. We want to pitch a small 2 man tent by our camper van. Originally, we were going to pitch it behind the van but we've ended up with a bigger model (6.99m long) due to a cock up at the hire place so we would only be able to pitch it to the side - is that going to be a problem? Seems like it's ok from forums but are things getting more strict? It's difficult to know how hardline stewards are going to be about enforcing the rules. Any info v welcome!
