  1. Yes....where the Crown was sponsored by Budweiser if I remember correctly.
  2. Talking of lies Eavis say's "It'll be the best one ever" every year, and it never is. Charlatan.
  3. ...and what's with all this push to fill the place with girl bands? Every bloke knows there's been no decent music from any chick since The Reynolds Girls aced it with "I'd Rather Jack" in 1989. F*cks sake.
  4. The glass stacking units appeared on site after the 2023 festival, and we've had news since that Genosys will reappear in 2024, so I'm sticking with the reborn Genosys theory myself. They're essentially just dumped inside Gate C alongside prefabricated stairs and a couple of pallets of bits and bobs so it looks myself very much like they were delivered and are now just waiting to be shifted into place during this years build tbh rather than having been already used on site for 2023.
  5. Yeah that's definitely the planes we saw yesterday. One of them had it's wings removed but the curved tips were unmistakable. I wonder if we're going to get some flying/climate change installation....?
  6. Boom....just woke this morning and had the very same thought!
  7. Beat me to it....that would be eminently possible.
  8. Cheese & Grain next Saturday so hopefully they may give the farm a shout out while local.
  9. Faithless now moved to start of bottom line.
  10. The current licence restricts 9 x Stages and 7 x Venues to operating from Fri - Sun only. Which Stages/Venues those are isn't specified in the Licence itself but is on a separate Licence Plan that isn't public. Pretty certain it extends further than those on the poster therefore.
  11. Most recent EMP for 2024 Festival is dated 18th Oct 2023. https://somersetcc.sharepoint.com/sites/SCCPublic/Community/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FSCCPublic%2FCommunity%2FGlastonbury Festival 2024 Event Management Planning Document.pdf&parent=%2Fsites%2FSCCPublic%2FCommunity&p=true&ga=1
  12. Because this is eFestivals.....Emily can't invest in new socks without someone on here knowing about it. Changes to licence T's and C's are bread and butter round these parts.
  13. The current licence doesn't cover the main 16 Stages and Venues at any time other than Friday - Sunday.
  14. No "Nick Mason's Saucerful..." even with an obvious #GSH in his schedule. Either he's a TBA or is still p*ssed with ME and has led us up the garden path 😒
  15. Obvs more to come......eg James self-confirmed but nowhere to be seen at present.
  16. Haunted....big style. I'm a quite cynical person, and not easily spooked by such things, but I'm not keen on the place.....
  17. Sure is. Assuming they have been accepted again for this year the Crumble Shack is conveniently located just opposite the Left Field tent on the path that leads towards Pyramid. Choices of fruit and toppings. Heaven.
  18. Sadly with nothing this way until September all hopes look to be on a one-off trip 😕
  19. The link doesn't actually show the shop in Shangri-La though....it was on the left if you entered from the far end of the railway track...pretty much next door to the Shangri-Mart spoof supermarket and the place where they were selling prints etc. The charity shop did have a printing facility for tshirts but it wasn't up and running when we were in there. It was definitely a Traid charity store though....my buddy manages a chain of charity stores across the south west and he knew a couple of the folks running the place in there.
  20. Less 'w*nky hipster shop' and more genuine charity outlet I'm afraid. I bought a terrific shirt for £10 actually. https://traid.org.uk/traid-hits-glastonbury/
  21. Fingers firmly crossed for Crumble Shack again this year 🤞
