  1. Taylor's album is so far up and above Arctic's though it's crazy! Can't compete with her but it's just a much better offering.
  2. It's definitely closer to being MGK than Paramore which i didn't expect to say. Out of all of those, it really wouldn't matter who was the MSW on the Green Day for me as I'd like use it as a beer/food run.
  3. what's the field in Hampshire?
  4. Absolute shit show run by donkeys caught out before. Alkaline Trio did an interview saying when the lineup was announced neither them or friends from other bands they knew had even been asked. I can draw up a band poster and sell it for £200. They booked it in the hope that the bsnds would like the idea of all shating that lineup. Then fuck it over an hour before.....because they didn't know adverse weather was coming at all!
  5. I think they've given you the 2024 set.
  6. Clash central. They won't clash Paramore and Yungblud I doubt. But I do think Paramore playing the UK later April makes Reading less chance.
  7. Just underworld and the one yungblud song is all I'd bother with.
  8. It starts great, little just over half way through and then picks back up. It's going to be huge for sure.
  9. I have told myself that if I don't get a ticket, I'll go away on a euro break for a few days that week instead. My sisters birthday that week and 40th on the Saturday so I'm split anyway.
  10. It's pretty washed up to be fair. A couple of OK songs.
  11. That would be one an overall top set I wouldn't go for.
  12. I'm very selective when it comes to the dance stuff although Carl Cox does cover on the Glade.
  13. I think this will be the easiest Glastonbury sale in years. If you fail in November and they announce a lineup more commercial/pop/rap orientated than this year then resale won't be that hard.
  14. Can honestly say this year, had Macca not played the festival could have come and gone without a thought of it. The lineups are heavily turning not in my favour and the more of that has teen/very early 20s appeal the more as others have said I'll be avoiding this generations V Festival open style
  15. Kinda agree, I'm really questioning if it is worth it. Nowhere near as quick. They don't even have a really big Legend this year.
  16. I don't like the idea of the festival being priced to a point of essentially financially many now can't afford it....but there will be a field of people who still can that earn enough. If you've never been I can just about see it, if you're a regular it is extortionate and it's likely you are just paying more and more to see acts you like in a setting a place that you've previously seen acts you like for much cheaper. They would need a Maccaesque headliner next year for me not to save my money and put the £30 back in. It's my sisters 40th birthday that week too so I'm kinda torn anyway and given when Glastonbury is I've not been around much for it.
  17. It is an over packed site for sure. But even more so they definitely haven't shelled out for Elton with that price hike, he's not that importance to them.
  18. It'll be the easiest in years to get a ticket. It'll be easier in November but the lineup opinions will see many dropping £30 back in the pot. The resale wasn't hard this year, my bank was just being a dick. I wouldn't do it again personally.
  19. Not sure if serious but at the start it's okay but I'm now heading towards a combination of 40 festivals in if I haven't topped that now which is quite probable. About 20 of that is actual weekends from when I was 18 and you just ask yourself when you've been there, done it and seen it, is it worth it.
  20. For me its not now, it's changed a lot but I do want my ten years to bow out on. Then it'll be 11 after that lol. Yeah I find it mad how people just justify it by saying this band cost this. For one, you have the comfort of being indoors meaning no weather issues and two you can get as close as you want in your chosen area. At Glastonbury, you might see the headliner but unless you've really made effort in getting close it won't be the same.
  21. This is going to make people think twice. In fact, I think if I'd have paid that and got the lineup from this year I'd have cashed in and cut my losses. I will try but they've got to pull something out the bag. Presuming car parking is on top of that.
  22. You answered your own question. The price of this vs the price of WWWYF vs the size of the bands. Many of these even the bigger one's can cover 30/40 mins of what people want to hear for $45. The WWWYF schedule isn't as bad as I thought it might be and I'm open to seeing how it goes. Bu there is a few bands there that I straight away would rather not see at a festival on a 40 minute set and wait for an indoor show with another 40 minutes.
  23. Wolf Alice, AFI, JEW, FYS, ADTR, Avril Lavigne, BMTH, Paramore, MCR. It's a good run but the amount of songs which was always going to be the case that you are going to hear from some of the lesser options just leave you wanting to see them on their own tour. I have virtually nothing after Wolf Alice though for 4 hours. If I lived there I would pay it but it's questionable at the price it is and the time you'll get from bands.
