  1. Apologies if this has been asked already but what sites have people been using for accommodation? Been looking on Airbnb but struggling to find somewhere decent (by decent i basically mean with terrace / balcony) for 7 people. Has anybody get any other website suggestions for me?

Liking the sound of Phoenix All Stars presenting the Clash in Dub.

Following their Jamaican ska takes on 2 Tone Records, The Rolling Stones and Dexys Midnight Runners, Phoenix City All-stars return with their fourth studio album - Clash Version Rockers - an indcendiary dub take on The Clash.

The album makes it's live premiere at The London Intl Ska Festival / 30th anniversary (30th March 2018).

The album will be issued on ltd.edition heavyweight vinyl, CD & digital by Happy People.

Tracklisting features 9 devastating 70s style rockers cuts of
White Riot, Bankrobber, London Calling, Career Opportunities, White Man In Hammersmith Palais, Clash City Rockers, This Is Radio Clash, Tommy Gun and Guns of Brixton.

Thanks for this. Just listened to their Stones album and these are now very high up on my must-see list :D

My brother is part of the road team for the Libertines this summer and he seems to think Benicassim is a done deal for their summer bookings. Not sure why nothing has been confirmed to the public but apparently there are 20+ confirmations including The Kooks!

    You heard it here first!

With the rumours of Eminen and Bruno Mars being possible headliners early on ill happily settle for the Libs! If its a joint headliner with Jamorique or someone else then even better!

*also several acts have shared a poster with Travis Scott on it wonder has he pulled out as not on the offical poster from the festival or will he be announced later

Just noticed this now. If hes pulled out it seems strange that he would cancel dates in August but keep his July ones.

  5. From Jamiroquais website the only dates theyve got during that week is Wednesday 18th and Friday 20th, Germany and Portugal respectively. Surely this leaves them open to play Sunday 22nd?

No Spanish date, playing Y-Not following weekend with Catfish who are also at Beni....

  6. Can anyone remember how much longer the coach tickets were still available after the general tickets sold out last year? Went to buy one last night but didn't realise id need £260 up front to buy one. Was hoping they did some sort of split payment option like they do for the general tickets. Pay day is another 4 weeks for me.....

You ever used glamping in the villacamp? Looking at that this year

I haven't no. Obvious advantages are you're closer to the town, the beach, the bars, supermarkets ect. But then you're quite a distance from the festival!

We prefer Glamping in Campfest just because you have the freedom of popping back your tent for a few more beers if there's a gap in the music you're not keen on. Its literally a 5 minute walk from the main stage back to your tent!

Anyone here ever done the glamping at the festival. What' the setup like has it got it' own showers and toilts etc or does it share facilities with the main campfest site

Used Glamping in campfest every year since 2012! Own showers, toilets, security and large open spaces between the tents to socialise. Nice amount of space between each tent and the ground is in better condition - Both are considerably worse in normal camping. You also have the benefit off being able to walk around normal camping if you wish - Good for finding most things if you catch my drift. Only problem is people from normal camping aren't allowed into Glamping without a wristband which can be slightly problematic if you have friends outside of it.

Any other questions please feel free to ask. When i went in 2012 Glamping only had around 50 tents. Last year there was about 600. Once youve had a walk around the normal camping youll soon understand why people will pay the money to stay in Glamping and why its become so popular  :)

I'm gonna be seeing 3 bands I have wanted see for a long time, so I am happy out in that sense.

As others have said, the dance acts haven't been announced yet, so there is some hope there. Any of Justice / Diplo etc etc. I wonder would Chrvches and/or XX / Jamie XX fall into that category too?

And speaking of beer, how much is drink inside the festival?

They use a token system, 1 token is 3 euros. Think 1 token gets you 300ml cup of beer, or for 3 tokens you get a litre cup of it!

I camp and do most of my drinking there, so apologies if wrong! Im sure someone else will be able to confirm though.

  10. Not the best, but one more BIG headliner (Apart from Eminem) and ill be happy!

Anyway, regardless of the lineup, its always one of the highlights of my year. Warm weather, cheap beer and a good group of friends, what else do you want!

Mind you, i am going Mad Cool the weekend before as well which may have softened the blow with this announcement ha.

Let's put our heads on the blocks then, ahead of Thursday's announcement - Who do you think the next/remaining 3 headliners will be, in addition to The Killers?

    I'm going;

    - ARCADE FIRE

    - EMINEM

    - JAMIROQUAI

With The Streets, Stereophonics (but not to be announced for another 2 weeks at earliest), Royal Blood, & Lorde as the 4 x main stage subs.

Who are you going with, folks???

Eminem, Mumford and Sons and Florence.

Two Door, Vaccines, Jamiroquai, Royal Blood, Miles Kane and Twin Atlantic all on the undercard.

Thinking of doing Mad Cool then Benicassim back to back, is it possible do you think?

Fuck knows what state I’ll be in at the end of it, but me and 3 others are doing exactly this! Got tickets for this last night and had Beni tickets months ago! Get involved!

If Eminem was to play which day do we think he be on. When the killers were named I automatically thought they be Saturday night headliners but if Eminem was to be named surely he would be in contention for thst spot too

My guess would be the Saturday as he'd be the biggest name...

Hes just been announced for Governors ball as well so id imagine he'll be announced for Beni soon. Its looking like we get Eminem and Mad Cool gets Jack white from that announcement. What a shit deal for us that is....
