  1. The forcefield is strong. No r**n for 6 days. Hot hot hot Friday then a little dust settler maybe on sat/sun. After that we will have some weather. Everyone needs to remain vigilant and sacrifice whenever possible.
  2. 15th June T-7 The current weather and ground conditions in Pilton are :* HFH records 17.9 degrees at 0842 with humidity at 86%. Consequent tent conditions - egg fried in 2 minutes. * RAM jam jar is currently dry. Todays duckometer reading is 0.0 mm, no rain for the last 6 days. Duck, now as a newly qualified turtle dove, is mincing around like a pound shop drag queen. * Diver stans a lesser known character from the beloved childrens’ TV show. * Milky milky replacement auditions taking place. How do you want to be woken up?* Current wind condition - still. Miss Pat is currently reading Hinkley Point C. She has been immobile for so long a spider has started to set up home on her. Al Ci. 1 okta. * The Twig formally known as sticky stick has left the building. Negotiating Well redundancy package. Ground condition is unpopped corn. * Arlo has completed his commission of Jack the Weather Dog.
  3. Walking down muddy lane into Williams Green for a coffee and a look through the programme to decide on the plan of action that day. rinse and repeat for each of the following 4 days.
  4. This is the exact same set up of toppers we have in our van with a rock n roll bed. It is SO comfortable. Like princess and the pea without the legume. You will sleep like a prince.
  5. We definitely had water in the well in 2015 - 2018. None to speak of in 2020 or 2021. This year we have had none since January. In fact we now have ferns and stuff growing up. It’s less of a well and more of a vertical greenhouse.
  6. Traditionally we would be heading over to the Crown pub in Pilton for a pre-festival gathering. Unfortunately our pub I still being renovated and won’t open until July ( at the earliest). I suspect we will just move the meet to the Working Mens Club. A little further to fall home but hey ho.
  7. I’m assuming you meant the King Arthur? Unless you of course you are particularly close to royalty. 😝
  8. No but we love that guy!!! Made me smile everyday we came down muddy lane. He was always so happy!!

A whim- a- way, a whim-a-way.* Current wind condition - still. Miss Pat needs to apply factor 50 or she’ll be making yoghurt. Current reading is IICON. 0 okta gin clear, no filter used. * sticky stick ……game over. The Well resembles Jurassic World. Ground condition is Bluebird toffee, no hammer. 15. Taking cups of tea out to the security guys opposite our house. Or maybe jugs of ice cold water as that is surely what they will need. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing if the guy, who has 5 sugars in his tea, comes back this year. Oh and Dave, the stop - go man working the traffic - but that’s usually Wednesday.

    Snacks

Always have some morale mints in the pocket. Extra strong mints are best. Particularly like them when I find them a few months on and they’ve gone slightly soft.

  21. Your sacrifice is doing a great job Lucy Loo! Beautiful sunny weather here. I was going to go for a run at 5.30am today, so that I didn’t have to run in the heat, but the BBC said it would cloud over at 11am, so I had a coffee instead and went out at 12. The BBC lied…..the sun was still shining at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 1. Readily feckin boiled my head it did. still it was quiet out round the lanes round Worthy. No people, and only saw: a van carrying teepee poles one dead mole some beautiful butterflies the colourful tents at Worthy View a flat as a pancake squirrel.
