Annie Mac to headline the JP stage?

All the times not actually lining up with the lines  (eg Radiohead at 9.30 on the 9.00 line)

are we sure this is legit?

It's definitely legit, they won't have uploaded a false lineup and taken a screenshot of it. It may not be the final version as they may edit it to make the times actually line up, but those acts will be playing those slots (annoyingly).

And to think some people thought they weren't big enough to headline a stage! Third top on other stage was even mentioned at one point

I think I'd have preferred JP, but this will be sensational.

Nah we thought they weren't big enough to headline Other. Third down Other is a bigger slot than Park headliner, I'm surprised they haven't got a bigger slot.

I guess they could still headline on the Sunday... not sure why we thought they would definitely be Friday . @Will-2609?

For me it was just because they hinted at Park headline and we seemingly know the other two (Warpaint and Kano). They can't do Park headline on Sunday if that Kano info is legit but if they're not Park headliners then I think they can do any day.

  4. You know what I wish Radiohead did fucking sub last year. A Friday night of Anderson .Paak > The Flaming Lips would have been great.

Thank God ATCQ pulled. What a three-way clash that would have been.

When I opened that the first thing I looked at was the JP headliner. Saw Annie Mac and was so happy, then scanned down to see Flips just below ffs.

Future Islands on Other I'd guess.

Friday is looking like a massive clash.

I though circa waves were down to play at around 3ish?

Yep we first got told 6:10 and then yesterday he told us it's actually 3:10. That prediction is from when we thought it was 6:10.

Do we have info that Courteeners are headlining JP? That's news to me

Nope, Neil told us when he first got info on them that they were Pyramid or Other'

Are Ride definitely Park Friday? That was on the @Will-2609 prediction though I thought there would be more clashes with Ride up against Radiohead and Courteeners up against Foo Fighters. I understand Future Islands can only do the Friday so I kept them there but wasn't aware that Ride were already confirmed for Park on Friday. Thought they would work in the day on the Other stage, so I put them up against Katy Perry on Saturday instead. Also moved Circa Waves to 3:10pm, thought it was weird for them to clash with Royal Blood.

Ride liked someone's comment on fb saying that they hope they're headlining the Park so they can use their strobes. Think that's all we've got on that one.

What if the new songs are bangers tho

My internet fucked itself trying to edit that message but they won't be any better than any Arcade Fire album.

Have upvoted, no idea why was down vote, clearly sailing on the ship of fools. No not like squeeze but low slot on pyramid, other or west holts even would be reasonable...and fun, love me a bit of erasure.

Yeah they seemed like they were mostly being suggested for West Holts but obviously that's been announced now so was wondering where else they could fit in.

Right, I feel I have to jump to its defence against the assault and I listened to it again last night and Pure Comedy just grows and grows with every listen. I admit you have to be in the right frame of mind to put it on, but if you are it's brilliant.

Although it is one-paced, there is enough subtle variation in there. Hardly any of the songs are just him and a piano or guitar. I can understand why it's easy to write off after one or two listens, but I think it's very unfairly derided, and although most of it is nearer to Bored in the USA than True affection, the statement that it is just that stretched over an album is utter tosh.

The first four songs could easily have slotted on to Honeybear, and the arrangements throughout the album are really interesting. Magic Mountain, The Memo, Dying Man and Pure Comedy are up there with the best he's done.

The lowest point on the album is probably the last track or bigger paper bag but they're not too offensive. History could end up judging this as his piece de resistance IMO.

Yeah it's good. I haven't revisited it in a while but that's mainly because any chance I get to listen to music atm I'm checking out acts from the Glasto lineup. Really looking forward to his set; hoping he's on early to avoid clashes.

Just watched blossoms set on radio ones big weekend so cant wait till they play but please dont let it be after half seven on sarurday night when im working i just might cry!!!

They're Friday Pyramid. They said in an interview that they'll be playing at a similar time to that which they played at Coachella (about 1-2pm I think), so probably ~6th down Pyramid on Friday.

Where would they play? Could they do an early Pyramid slot a la Squeeze?

Why the doenvote? Are they nothing like Squeeze? Don't really know anything about either but they're both 80s-ish bands that no one cares about now, aren't they?

    Edit: Except CalGon.

Other than the Less Than Jake/Neck Deep announcement for that TBA slot are there many others on the Slam Dunk line up you'd expect?

I guess for the main stage (probs sunday) we could have whoever didn't get the TBA slot. As well as that myabe Death Havana or Tonight Alive (though both played NME last year). I guess Beartooth could also do a Main, NME (friday) or Pit (Sunday) or FR stage (Saturday). We The KIngs could potentially do FR or Pit too maybe?

Can't really think of anyone else on the lineup that would be worth holding back tbh. Unless it is other random people who are were held back for tours or whatever other reason

Less Than Jake headlining Lock Up, Neck Deep 6th main Sunday, Beartooth/Black Foxxes 8th main Sunday.

  12. Well if he wasn't booked originally then there'll be a spot to fill where Dizzee Rascal was initially supposed to be.

Now we know Stormzy is playing Saturday I'm wondering if Dizzee was maybe Friday Pyramid (sorry, dental). He was probably somewhere on the Friday. Either that or on Other.
