Katy Perry presumably on before The National, no?
Dental pointed out earlier that there's a run of Royal Blood-Stormzy-Chic on the third line of the poster. Similar to The xx-The National-Biffy Clyro the line above and Major Lazer-alt J-Boy Better Know the line below. So those could be the 3rd down acts in day order.

Stormzy into The National should keep the punters moving around!
Very true but I'd definitely be there for that one-two!
4 minutes ago, CaledonianGonzo said:Could be The Jewelrunners.
God, please no. The fact they seemingly had ATCQ and Stormzy (and even Dizzee) on the bill who are much better fits for it makes me hopeful they won't have stuck them there, though.

Maybe Katy Perry is taking the Sunday teatime slot or something daft.

If Friday is that rammed total nightmare, other than Whitney supposedly on other which might remove a clash, clashtastic! Great lineup though if we get that!
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Good shout.
4 minutes ago, kingcrawler said:Just posted in the who's playing what day thread but since Stormzy's Saturday the George Ezra info makes more sense now. I still think the Circa Waves time is strange so maybe there's an extra band playing Other each day this year? Them being on at 18:10 doesn't really fit with the usual Other times so an extra band would move things along a bit.
Neil's timing for Ezra will surely still be off, but yeah him shoving Stormzy down to 5th didn't really feel right.

Not sure how we've all missed this but Stormzy has Saturday listed on his website
Hahaha well. Fair play @dentalplan.
So no Friday hip-hop slot I guess. And Stormzy probably 3rd from top based on that run of Royal Blood, Stormzy, Chic on the poster?

I'm confused, are United including Community shields as trophies or not?
7 hours ago, The Nal said:I'm not. Mourinho is.
Well Arsenal won the Community Shield last year, too, so United haven't even won more in the last season than Arsenal have in the last 4. Never mind more than Arsenal and Liverpool have combined over the last decade.

Anyone think it'd be a bit weird for Kano to play at the same time as BBK on Other? I'm sure Kano's been featured on quite a few Boy Better Know songs and I'd be surprise if he wasn't part of their set.
Park finishes early on Sunday. He'll be on before BBK start.

Dizzy Rascal v Radio Head
that just doesn;rt make sense to me , I love a bit of Dizzy , but with him not doing anything for a while, I just can't see that many peopel watching him. I don't plan on seeing Radio head but i would rather bimble than see Dizzy..
unless do you think there is someone else they will slot in to headline as a surprise maybe ?
It was supposed to be ATCQ and Dizzee has replaced them after they canned their tour due to injury. He was probably supposed to be mid-Other or something.

I'm still eagerly awaiting JP and Park Sunday headliner announcements.. I like Justice but I'm in no way a huge fan.
Metronomy self-confirmed for Sunday JP headliners and Neil has info that Kano is headlining Park on Sunday, but Park will most likely close early anyway.

Is there a reason why Royal Blood are so set in stone for 3rd slot? Other than being way more awesome than GE... Which personally I'm fully on board with, but Pyramid crowd is a funny one, and BBC would probably hark more loudly for Ezra, despite current output of respective people.
Just size, really. Royal Blood are a much bigger concern right now than George Ezra.

If the George Ezra info is totally right on the other hand... He was 17:45 afaik in Neil's initial information, which could put him in Royal Blood's spot - which seems to be widely accepted as ridiculous - but I wonder...
Oh yeah I'm assuming the timing was just a bit off and he's just Friday evening Pyramid.

Reckon he's gonna be third or fourth down Other with something like
Bonobo > Laura Marling > Courteeners > BBK (maybe switch Bonobo and Marling around - not sure which way they'd go)
London Grammar are Sunday, too.
I've got Bonobo > London Grammar > HAIM > BBK.
Got Courteeners subbing alt-J but could easily switch them with HAIM.
Laura Marling on Pyramid again.

Stormzy could quite easily be Saturday I reckon. Patterns gotta end sometime.
In fact, you could look at the poster and say that the two lines above and one below have a set of acts in Fri-Sat-Sun order - so maybe Stormzy is 3rd down (Royal Blood-Stormzy-Chic) and Katy Perry before him which is baffling in itself but so is her not headlining anyway (or I woulda said before a few weeks ago).
True but I feel like he's such an obvious fit to continue the pattern that I don't see it ending this year. It'll end if one year they don't have anyone who's a good fit for it, I'd say.

How likely is this? I'm really really hoping that Glastonbury just say "look, Radiohead, I don't know who the fuck you think you are but you absolutely cannot have more time than Coldplay"
Not that I don't want to watch them for 2.5 hours, I just can't deal with the clash headache
I'd guess pretty likely, as they've got 2.5 hours at their other festivals this Summer (Werchter, BKS), and we've seen in the past that Glasto are happy to give out slots of this length. However, Radiohead only tend to play for around 2 hours even when they get these length slots so maybe Glasto will just give an a 2 hour slot.

I think there'll be something maybe a bit jazzy or worldy or something in between Kris and Hacienda. Takes someone else out of the lineup (maybe two if they can't account for a long Radiohead set and lots of hour long sets) but yeah that order seems like its missing something.
Normally I'd have agreed, taken out George Ezra, shunted everyone up and stuck an Ibibio Sound Machine or a Songhoy Blues in there, but we have info on all those acts but Stormzy and I definitely think he'll be Friday Pyramid.
Only chance is if the George Ezra info is just totally wrong imo, but even then I struggle to fit him anywhere else.
Edit: I know there's normally something like that low Pyramid but there have been exceptions. Saturday 2015 was missing something like that.
-
Songhoy Blues posted on Instagram something about playing the Pyramid Stage in 2015 and how they "can't wait to do it all again". Been expecting them back on Pyramid since then.
The Can Project seemed more like a Park booking to me, anyways. Probably sub it.

Blossoms before Kristofferson I'd have thought?
Doubt it, wouldn't have been surprised by them being a slot higher than I've got them. They're third down on the main stage at R&L; same slot as TDCC and Korn. Bafflingly they're a big deal right now.

I was worried about this but looking at the last 3 years the West Holts sub always ends at 9.30, leaving just enough time to get over to the Pyramid with a pit stop at the cider bus for one of them hot ciders.
I really cannot wait, what an evening that's gonna be
Not if Radiohead get the 2.5 hour slot they've got at other festivals.
-
Adds fuel to the fire of:
Radiohead / The xx / Royal Blood / George Ezra / Stormzy / Blossoms / Kris Kristofferson / Hacienda Classical
-
Anyway, Justice confirmed as my Sunday headliner and Thundercat in a nice early slot are both good bits of news.
Kate Tempest I'd like to see but I feel like she's gonna lose out due to clashes.

So does that tee up Paak to clash with Lorde and the Flaming Lips?
Most likely clashing with Lorde but I don't think there's any way he could be clashing with the Flips. They'll be 3rd Other or JP headliners.

I could see them announcing another area tomorrow. West Holts hardly needs the exposure so I don't think they'd mind announcing another one soon after it.
