Thats pretty sick, i was properly into The Streets a couple of years back... Original Pirate Material.

Wanted to see them and had 2 chances but flopped it (due to lazyness).. so im pretty happy with this replacement <_<

Ahh shit... Damn Soo was up for MIA. The Streets were good back in the day and have rapidly run out of decent material.. Have seen them live 3 times now, they were real good once, and shite the oter two times.

Yeah that's what i thought... i would have been REAL HYPED a couple of years back...

If they play mostly older stuff then it'll be cool, if not, then i might be leaving the main stage untill NOISIA come on! haha.

Im not exactly a fan of M.I.A either, but i suppose at least seeing her would have broadend my horizons a bit. Ah well.

Hello, I posted this as a separate topic with no luck so just trying again here

Has anyone bought tickets from www.lastminute.com? on our tickets, under customer name, it says "lastminute.com customer"... is this going to cause a problem at the festival gates?

I seem to remember that each of our tickets were individually named last year but i might be mistaken

Thanks in advance!

I dont think that is going to be problem , but if they ask you something just explain them , and you are getting in , but as long as you have valid ticket that has not been used , you are valid to get in and they cant by any mean stop you in doing so.

Only thing that is possible , is that with your ticket you get yourself a camp place ,

and when you try to check in camp problems jump out.

But i honestly think that if you explain your situation to staff , they wont make problems about it.

cheers mate.

Usefull tip dont drink more then one

LAV 7%Lav-7.png

It is the strongest beer in Serbia , it has 7% of alchocol and i personaly dont know anyone that had a normal night out while drinking it.

You are probably gonna get in fight with 20 serbians or jump of the cliff or something like that ,

or get really sick and trow up your baby food (done that my self , trust me it aint pretty:) )

Cheers

Alex

Cheers for the advice, though im pretty sure i could handle 'slightly' more than one before my egotistical 'wife beater' head comes on.... haha

Defintiely have to agree that any 7% beer is never going to be an 'all night' kind of drink though, after 4/5 im pretty sure it would be time to move onto the Vodka Redbull/ JD and Cokes.

...What are the pubs like around Novi Sad? Are the locals generally happy with foreigners?

What pubs/bars would you recommend?

getting closer guys!! I'm away from the 1st july til the 21st so can't bloody wait!

anyway - EURO QUESTION... I need to pay various hostels in euros-whats the best way of me doing this which avoids having to carry loads around?

do any atm's give you a choice of taking euro? or are euro traveller's cheques the best bet?

will i need euro's for anything else or is serbian money the usual?

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
