Hi guys me and my mate where lucky enough to get our festival tickets but my boyfriend having recently changed jobs is unable to get my on the list for the VIP tent.... does anyone have any ideas how else I can go about getting these...... willing to try anything within reason :P Cheers xxxxxx

Why would you want a VIP ticket????? An area full of people who are not interested in music, have no intention of seeing any band except the headliners, hell you don't even get cheap beer!!!!!!

having been in the 'vip' areas a couple of times (although, admittedly not at V) i can confirm that most people there are boring jumped up z listers. i just use the nice toilets and get the hell out.

V is just a festival for people that don't like festivals anyway.

Guys now, now the reason why I want to get the tickets is because of the nice toilets and the shelter you get from the rain when you want to carry on partying without going to your tent.......... VIP last year was ace! And as for the guy that said V is S*it............... words pass me!!!! :P

I would like to say, that I have been VIP at V twice. I love my music, and it was worth it just to be able to go to clean toilets and to be able to buy decent drinks from the bar for example Jack Daniels. Not everyone who has VIP tickets spends all there time behind the big green fence. I saw every band I wanted to see.

I had VIP back in 2004, was awesome!! Didn't spend much time in there, but meant had the choice of nice toilets, a better and less busy bar, they also had a spongebob restaurant!!!

plus after muse, we all played rugby with the massive balloons they had at the end of their set!!

as for getting tickets, it's only really through work you can get them.

That can't be right can it? That suggests that the 'normal' people at Glasto are being overcharged, which means the promotors (is it still Mean Fidler that does all of the Eavis family's lifting and carrying?) making money and everyone kinows that V is the only festival that makes money out of its customers.
