Not just updated, but in the coming days, extensively altered, with luck!

Those charts only go up to Thursday 21st currently.

Lost knows his onions ...

If we get weather anything like as good as in 2003, I'd (at this stage) be amazed.

Prospects will continue to alter, but just now I'm doubting if they'll head anywhere near as far in the hot and sunny direction, as we risk things going in a rainier one.

So watch what you're DEALing for -- you want 2003, but you're just as much if not more likely to get the considerably nastier and muddier 2004 ...

Which had one lovely warm sunny day in it (the Friday). Current forecasts aren't really offering that yet.

The forecast will keep flip-flopping around at this range...but a trend i keep noticing with the GFS model is it keeps toying with idea of pushing high pressure in around Thursday whereas the main european model is'nt playing ball just yet.

Don't worry about those temps William. All forecasts at this time frame are in low-resolution at the moment. Those forecasted temps don't have the strength of the sunshine modified in....so add on at least 2-3 degrees (providing it's also saying sunshine!)

'Clot'??

On the Saturday just gone, I believe, Metcheck were predicting over 100mm of rain either over the Glasto period itself, or in the five days leading up to it from the weekend. They are still predicting a fair bit of rain on Friday and Saturday coming up, with some more outbreaks (albeit less in millimetreage) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

And as ever, consistently, their temperatures are rubbish, which means any pre- or early- Festival rain will be hard pushed to dry up.

Metcheck are all over the place, and have a very long track record of constantly changing. Expect wild moodswings (on drugs) from them over the next few days.

Indeed, their operatives (who are not people but computer models) are on drugs. Tenner Huey, who's a professional meterologist I think, has suggested we take no notice of them.

Hard not to take notice, I know, but ...

Please don't get excited over Metcheck, even when it's been updated very recently. Or over any other forecast that's out of date!

ETA : Just to overemphasise : Stop quoting Metcheck as if they;re the fukken oracle!!
