Fly to Budapest

Memory's a bit hazy from last year, don't know why , but I think it was about £25 return on the train from Budapest to Novi Sad. Train journey's a cnut at 7/8 hours, but you'll at least meet loads of folk going to the festival that way.

youre looking at last years info mate, clark and mills played last year, hawtin cancelled last year but is is back on this years.

down the minimal route theres also Magda, but she's likely to pump it a bit with it being such a large outdoor arena, theres also Chris Liebing and Speedy J who will hammer it for sure...

Also depending on who they stick him on with Sebastien Leger sometimes goes down the techno route, as does Nic Fanculli

The dance arena is another story - they've clearly gone out of their way as djs like Digweed, Hawtin, Sanchez and Tenaglia don't come cheap and are extremely difficult to confirm bookings for, I would assume that these lot have been paid for up front, as Hawtin for one wouldnt have any hesitation in cancelling his exit gig if a better one came along... im very much looking foward to Hawtin and Magda for sure.. hopefully they will stick the two one on the same night and leave them both to it, it will make for a decent night.

yeah i know they dont come cheap but also alot of artists want to do exit rather than the other way round so they play for a lot less than they would play elsewhere!

i doubt there is a better gig than exit

Quite a few festivals release parts of the line up late.... Glastonbury is the obvious one. Also Big Day Out in Australia....

They want people to come for the atmosphere, not because x, y and z are playing.

There will def be many more artists on, there has to be to fill the times, it just depends if they are well known to the UK or more local.

I meant in terms of accessibility as a trip to serbia more or less rules out any other gigs a few days either side for the artist..

It's not impossible for bigger names to pay charter flights to and from Belgrade.. So it doesn't have to be few days either side, it can be closer to 12 hours in total, right?
