bollocks, i was hoping for a serbian ticket...if only i had a local hunny :P

how much cheaper are they?

i asked a serbian guy on couchsurfing.com about the budapest-novi sad train. he said that, bizarrely, the single ticket is about 17 quid but the return is 13....anyone find that last year?

bratislava isnt actually that far from budapest, i think it takes about 9 hours in total travel, its definatley an option plus it takes you to the right train station in budapest. looked in to trieste and thought about getting a hire car an 4 ppl, not a bad option.

SWEET!

@Esme: there's no such things as train from Zagreb to Novi Sad... :D But, there are trains from Zagreb, Venice, Ljubljana to Belgrade. From there, you can easily catch the bus to Novi Sad. I'll try to find out the prices if possible... Also, I can tell you departure/arrival times if you're interested.

I'm the same mate, really dislike Groove Armada, just don't like their style at all. Zinc should be amazing though!

great news! last year i thought it was the best festival i had ever been to, even thought the line up was a bit weak. this year the line up is already incredible so i just cant imagine how good it will be! just cant wait to hear official confirmation for prodigy. another couple of guitar bands would be great too...

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
