Tell me about it - already this moth I've had to turn down offers to go and see Dylan, Spinal tap, The Zombies and some festival down south and now this! Why are all the good bands anouncing shows at the same time?!

Indeed. It happened last year too.

In November/December last year within around 3 weeks I went to Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Rancid, Slipknot (twice) Alter Bridge, Airbourne, Kid Rock and Black Stone Cherry.

I went to 5 gigs in six days and had no time off work... It was awesome but I'm in no rush to do it again! :)

I really hope i get tickets! I can't get tenclub membership because i don't have a credit card :) I'll have to somehow get them in the general sale, although i tried that with NIN and they sold out a minute before they were supposed to go on sale. Fingers crossed i guess.

Same for me, it was the cost of travel etc. that didnt cross my mind when I booked all of those. I'm concerned about the price of these gigs as the last 2 I went to at the O2 cost me 50 quid each! Totally worth it for AC/DC and Metallica though :)

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
