Thoughts on this line up and has anyone been to this festival at Alex James farm? 

 

Alex James confirmed yesterday that Phil Daniels is singing Parklife with him on his Sunday night headline slot yesterday with more special guests to be announced,  already another member of Blur playing on at the festival (Graham Coxon from The Waeve) - could we see a Blur reunion on the Sunday night?

2 new line ups announced for the Cheese Hub and also a brand new stage "The Outpost"

There was a launch party in Hackney for "Britpop Classical" last week but it was very unclear if any classical musicians were actually going to be in attendance (I'm guessing not) so although I was in LDN I gave it a miss.  I always assumed the festival was organised by some third party and Alex just fronted it?  Much as he is doing with Britpop sparkling wine.  To be fair to him each successive line up looks a wee bit more credible/interesting than the last one.  ps all of Blur will be there except Damon but it won't stop him hinting about Blur as a way to shift a few more tickets 🙂
