Hi there,

 

We went to WOH last year just for one day. Got tickets this year for the weekend. My wife and I are mid-30s, leaving the kids with grandparents for the weekend. We would usually glamp but are considering buying a decent tent with the amount glamping costs... I just wondered if anyone has any tips re the campsites in the festival? Is the general campsite fairly quiet? Or should we camp in family? I just worry in the family campsite we'd be surrounded by kids, haha. Last time we camped in a general campsite was about 10 years ago at Bestival in IOW.

I went a few years ago (2019?) and the general camping was pretty lively. We were next to one of those groups that constantly has a sound system on 24/7. Whether that's representative of the camping experience as a whole, I don't know.
