Hi guys,

I'm confused by this..

Can anyone decipher the below and let me know if this means I can access the festival from any entrance? I'll be coming with people who have general admissions tickets and travelling with them in their car.

"ARRIVING AT THE FESTIVAL

…by Public Transport

A free Festival shuttle bus service is available from Castle Cary Railway Station to the Festival Bus Station

from where you will be directed to the Hospitality Ticket Exchange. National Express coach services and

drop and collect buses also terminate at the Festival Bus Station.

…by Car

Affix the Hospitality Parking sticker to the inside of your windscreen below the rear view mirror, making sure it

is visible from the outside, but not obscuring the driver’s vision. Follow signs for Bronze Route to the Bronze

Gate (signed Hospitality), located off the A361 between Pilton & Glastonbury. You will then be directed to

the Hospitality Car Park.

The Hospitality Car Park is open 24 hours. Hospitality Parking can be purchased in advance (£75 + VAT per

vehicle) to a maximum ratio of 1:3 based on the number of hospitality tickets purchased. Hospitality parking

on arrival is subject to a £120 surcharge, therefore we strongly advise if you need to book a car park pass

before the final postage deadline, please contact hospitality@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk no later than

Friday 9th June 2023.

If you do not have a Hospitality Parking sticker, and wish to avoid the onsite surcharge we would advise you

park in public parking on the West side of the site and purchase a public car park pass for £60, and make

your way to the Hospitality Ticket Exchange in the hospitality car park adjacent to Wicket Gate (see map).

Car parking passes are for standard sized cars only and not for mobile sleeping vehicles.

ACCESS TO THE SITE

Your photo ID and ticket will be checked and exchanged for a wristband at the Hospitality Ticket

Exchange. You will then be directed to Wicket Gate.

Once through the gate, follow the bronze flags which mark your route to the Hospitality Campsite.

Hospitality Ticket Exchange (Wicket Gate) opening hours:

- Wednesday 21st June - 8am operating 24 hours through to midnight Saturday 24th June

- Sunday 25th June – 8am to 5pm

Should you arrive outside these times you can walk in via Pedestrian Gate A (or access the site through any

other pedestrian gate) you will then need to make your way to Webbs Ash Cabin at the Pyramid which is open 24 hours a day until 7pm Sunday."

Have you already got your tickets or do you need to collect them? From memory when we had them one year you do need to enter via wicket gate as they have the hospitality wristbands - I’m not sure whether any other gate would. Best bet would be to get your friends to drop you off and get the shuttle and meet them in there or walk from one of the west car parks to wicket gate
