Is it possible to get a taxi at 1am each day (for a place 20 minutes away)?

Hi all,

I am supposed to be camping but I still feel pretty rubbish from being ill two weeks ago and don't quite have the energy for camping so wanted to stay locally. Everywhere is understandably booked up nearby but I found somewhere a 20 minute drive ( or 3 hour walk) in Shap.

What is the possibility of getting a taxi at most nights at 1am or this would be really hard?

We stayed off site  a few years ago - and had a taxi booked to take us every day and collect - it was all pre-booked and worked well, although not the cheapest. There was 4/5 of us - and it was about £40 return. You will need to make sure its pre-booked, which we did for the whole festival

Thanks Milocat! I have just contacted two taxi companies about pre-booking each day 🙂
