Glastonbury App 2022 Problems

Can't find this as a listed topic but hope not duplicate:

EE's app for the 2022 festival doesn't work on Samsung S7 Android 8 (which is max available).  2019 version worked. Cant find info online but have emailed developer (doubt will get reply, mind).

Anyone know how to get around this (other than new phone!)? Thanks.

Try sideloading it. It is possible that the app won't work properly, since it is for Android 9+.

I've got the same problem and I am hopping mad about it!  I refuse to buy a new phone as the S7 is still working absolutely fine for my needs.

I'm planning to use clashfinder and download it into my calendar.

I'm all one for trusting random strangers on the internet, but is there anyway to know if this file is legit before I download it?  Sorry to be suspicious, but u know...

I'm not sure how I can prove it other than showing screenshots of the app I used to backup the APK file...

Decided to show some trust and went to download the file, but it's showing as unavailable and I can't download it.

Were you logged in to efests when you tried to download it? I got the same message when I was logged out.
