We're really lacking heritage alternative acts for next year (Depeche Mode, The Cure, Pulp, Pavement etc.) unless they surprise us with a reunion or some other band goes on tour - The Strokes are seemingly the only realistic one that fits the mold currently.  

madonna was in talk but went for more dollars in the end sorry if it’s confusing / inconsistent. no ide who replacement is

It blows my mind but f they do another early reveal we can get the lineup next month already.   And I agree with the earlier comment that The Strokes are actually more likely for Mad Cool next year.
