You want a ready supply of things to hand out. The obvious ones are, crisps, nut bars, individual soreen bars, made up bags/pots of sweet mix ups etc. Frozen capri sun and similar keep your stuff cool while camping and are refreshing when its hot. Make cake tray bakes or flap jack, customise to your kids taste. Have different coloured pots/bags for each child. Take small toys for when they just need a bit of time to themselves in the throng. Wraps. Hot dogs. Bags of rice. Quick cook pasta. Make and freeze sauces. If you can afford it give them all a budget for the day for ice cream, cake, brightly coloured eye catching stuff etc

I have this https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15903713/coleman-fyrestorm-pcs-stove-15903713. Have had it a few years. I paid less than half price for it and it's been great. Its large but I don't need a separate pan for festivals. The burner itself is tiny. I like the pot as it holds a litre of water and I can make filter coffee directly in it and just use a tea strainer to catch most of the grounds.

A small stove is worth taking to start your day with a cuppa. Queues are long for coffee in the morning and what you save on a couple of coffees will buy you lunch. Apparently there is still food for a fiver this year so you can take advantage of that. Cold milk is easy to buy there, cereal is light to pack and a dense one will fill you up. But you're missing out on some amazing food if you restrict yourself to noodles at the tent.

I think it's wonderful that you want to have the Glastonbury experience. It truly is a huge wonderful festival. Read through Glastoearth its really in depth and should cover lots of your queries. Ask us if you need furth information. We all have different experiences of the festival as there is so much to see and do. Everyone will have a different approach and expectation. You can bring your own booze and drink it anywhere unlike lots of other festivals. There is a vast choice of food all day and night. Loads of stages, bars, music, places to dance, theatre, cabaret and people. Its awe inspiring. Once bitten totally smitten.

For those that managed to get tickets how is payment working? Is the lead booker paying all or is it individual?

It would be great if it went to the separate emails but I reckon it will go to the lead booker.

I think there's going to be a big pot of return tickets this year and they don't want the payment shambles of the main sale again. If its a success they'll roll it out to main sale 2024. I would imagine they've thought about influencers too.

I reckon you'd be better off leaving Hull later, arrive on site and join the queue at the gates. In theory getting there and having a kip is a great idea but the reality is people are excited and noisy and the likelihood of sleeping in car park if slim.
