My daughter was at last years and she has already said I would have been totally stuck if the same happened again.this year...it's a tough one .. I have a year and a bit to decide

The conditions do play a big part in the type of festival we all have, and this year was great.

However, I think personal expectations and understanding are more important. Now that you realise how large the site is and how much there is to do (apart from just the main stages), you are in a much better position to judge.

Pick only one 'must see' and one 'would like to see' act each day and spend the time in between getting from one to the other bimbling about and stumbling on other acts and surprises - these often turn out to be the best bits of the festival!!

This will psychologically stop you from feeling you have to rush from one place to the next or feel that you are missing out. Move about the site when the masses are watching the big acts you're not so interested in and simply wait, sitting on your perfectly allowably chair, at the end of a set for the crowds to die down a bit before leaving.

If you still think it would be too much, fair enough. Next time around settle in front of the tv with some glitter in your hair and a glass of warm wine and enjoy the music from home!
