Re-entry

Once you have your wristband on Wednesday morning, have pitched up and are making that second run to the car,  are you requied to join the back of the queue to reenter or can you swan past and re-enter straight away?

You get a pass out at the exit gate and a fast track gate when you want to re-enter but you will need to show your ticket, wristband and pass out

Thanks, Jennings74. I'm familiar with the passout system. But I've only done a Wed's morning once before and suffered a huge queue at gate D, the trauma of which drove me to postpone my return to the car until late afternoon!

This time I am hoping to get in early and do a second run right away. But only if I know I can avoid re-queueing.

There is usually a seperate entrance for "re entry" but on a Wednesday morning it can be very busy and difficult to even get to this entrance with all the newcomers, my advice would be to set up camp relax and leave it till mid afternoon when things will be easier.

I'd back that up, but depending on the gate - on your way in the first time you can probably gauge whether you can easily get back to the separately fenced off 're-entry' route.  Gate B for example has a long narrow path (1/2 a mile?) that you can only join towards the back, at some point there is a separation of the path to allow for those reentering, but might be a few hours before things die down enough for that to be easily accessed.  I've been in the queue there when people have tried to skip past with their shiny wristband - general response being piss-off you lucky git! (all sour grapes disappear with acquisition of shiny wristband :) )  But like I say, you may be able to figure out on the way in how feasible it is.

I think I'll be going light on my first trip this year, and planning the 2nd for after lunch when I'm pissed
