Resale & press ticket

Hi guys I'm new here and have some questions I hope someone can help me with.

So its my dream to go to Glasto once and now Coldplay is closing I absolutely have to go. Now I forgot to register for the main sale but I just registered and was wondering if I can participate in the resale.

If so, I'm asking all my friends to help me on getting tickets. In your view, if I would find a total of like 60 laptops/ipads/smartphones, would that be enough to have a likely chance of getting tickets?

Finally; I work for the biggest festival website in The Netherlands/Belgium. We get press accreditation for each festival in Holland, Belgium, Germany and also in Hungary, Serbia, France and more. We never tried England but we do write about British festivals all the time. We are quiet proffesional. Do we have a chance getting the accreditation? Thanks in advance!

If you want accreditation ask the festival not here.

Your chances of tickets in the resale are as good as anyone elses. It is down to luck.

I know but there must be people here with experience with press tickets. And my chances cannot be the same if I have way more devices. I'm asking for a prediction.

The more people you have trying the less luck you'll need - they'll sell out in 10 minutes, some people will get them, some won't - you might get lucky, you might not.... Think that's as precise as it gets - have a look at some of the ticket day threads on here and they'll give you a clue...

Yep. Glasto is very tight with them. VERY tight.

This website is very well established and the festival (Michael and Emily, plus their managers) often express their thanks for the help and support we give them. We've had a sum total of (I think it's) 5 press tickets in 18 years.

This website always buy tickets, because the chances of press tickets is very slim and without buying them we couldn't be assured of going. You won't find out if you'll get a press ticket until June.

i suspect that it is a case of preaching to the converted with this site sadly. better to give them to the Times to see if they can win some positive coverage.

nah, that's nothing of what's happening.

There are press tickets, but there's many more people wanting them than there are tickets, so the festival has to say 'no' to many more people than it says 'yes' to.
