It's my first creamfields this year, and with 2 weeks ago until the festival I need to get supplies!! It says on the guide 1 crate 24 max, can the bottles be seperately for example 24 seperate bottles or can you have a few crates making it up to the 24 max or are you only allowed the one?! The guide doesn't really help tbh. Any information would be appreciated

Cheers

in all honesty i have never had my drink checked in the entire 4 times i have been, i take two crates of 24 and a bottle of spirits everytime.

up to you obviously, whats the worst that could happen...... they take a crate from you, although i cant see that happening.

Oh thank you, how thoroughly do they search you then?!?

Glass bottles they will pick up on and confiscate. A glass bottle of spirits should be decanted into a plastic bottle, ideally before arriving, although they do have tables with staff doing this during the major entrance queuing areas.

My cans of beers have never been counted up. I've never taken a whole crate of any. It is always 6 of these, 4 of them, 10 of the other, etc. I like a bit of a beer selection going on over the weekend lol.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
