Charging voltage?

I have bought a solar charger and it can be set to charge at 5v, 7.5v or 9.5v but I have no idea which to set it to. Planning on using it for my phone or MP3 player if they die, although not planning on using either much.

How can I find out which voltage to use?

If its a USB charger you want it set @ 5V

Should say in your phone charger in really small writing. Look for

Output rather than input

Look at the individual chargers and see what they provide the relevant devices. Anything that normally plugs into a USB port will be 5V but for mains chargers there should be a label to tell you what the voltage actually is. Warning: get it too wrong and expect smoke and fire ... and probably tears

Yeah it is a USB port on the charger that I would be plugging things into.

I ha this with mine I just googled, iPhone charging voltage
