Late night rock

Hi all,

This year will be my third glastonbury and one bit of the site I feel like I've missed out on is the Shangri-la/Block 9/Arcadia etc bits. I've mainly steered clear before because I don't like dance music and while I appreciate many do, I just can't dance to it for that long! Are there any rock-type acts in these areas at night? And I mean in these kind of 'themed' areas rather than just in a tent. I really can't believe that in a festival with such a broad array of music there's so little rock at night!

Exactly! I guess no one else knows of any either...bit of an oversight from the glastonbury organisers.

the late night areas play mostly dance because most of the people up late are off their box on pills I guess

there is one bar in the SE corner that plays guitar music, I've clean forgotten the name of it though. The park area is better if you want to avoid danc emusic

The diner-y thing in Shangri-la is always fun - a lot of the time the dancey stuff in Shangri-la is too full-on for me and I retreat into the diner. Always good for a bit of rockabilly, funk, psychobilly, silliness.

At my campervan after-hours party we will mostly be listening to Prog, Ska and Reggae.
