Press accreditation

Just a quick one.

I've been successful in getting press passes for some of the big festivals over the years - Bestival, Leeds and Reading, V, etc, but never tried with Glastonbury because I didn't want to "risk it".

Unfortunately I missed out in the first round of tickets this year so now I'm kinda freaking out a bit with the resales coming up. Thought I'd try and give press accreditation a go - I work for a newspaper writing music stuff, and a couple of blogs and stuff as well.

I've tried e-mailing the press office on [email protected] a few times now and not had any response.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice, or has done it successfully in the past?

Cheers,

Well, I'd love to purchase a ticket. I'm not just trying to get out of paying. I'm just panicking because I missed the first wave and never tried going through the resales anymore. Guess I'm trying to come up with a back-up plan.

I write for a couple of local rags and subsequent website: readership of around 300,000.
