Well it's that time of year again for planning next years festivals and I think it's between Open'er and Optimus Alive for a trip to Europe. Since quite a few people in this thread went last year I thought I'd see if I could ask a few questions on the festival if anybody would be willing to answer them?

Did anyone have any problems drinking on the beach? Would plan to spend my day there with a few cans so is it possible?

How far are the designated drinking areas from the msin stage? Anyone have any luck sneaking drinks away or is it quite strict?

Whats the prices on alcohol at the festival and round Gdynia?

When did the flights go on sale? Ryanair doesn't seem to have any atm.

And generally how was the festival? Seems great value and Gdynia looks a nice place. Very tempted by it atm

I'm a beer drinker so it's looking like it could be a pretty cheap trip for me. Ideal really considering it's looking like I'd be travelling the day after Glastonbury but after researching it a bit further online, headliners permitting I reckon that Open'er will be my festival abroad next year

Heineken(Grupa Żywiec exacly) won't be a festival sponsor in the same way as always. They will probably cut their funds for Open'er - which means lower budget for bands
