If anyone likes following pressure maps and fancies adding the Jet Stream to that viewing here are two sites I use. https://bigsalty.com/en/charts/jet_stream_forecast/uk-ireland/ https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twodata/datukgfshires.aspx?display=jetstream&model=gfs At this time of year the UK 'should' be under the jet stream so like the letter 'n'. We have had autumn winter patterns for ages now so we are in the letter 'u' - hopefully that makes sense. N means high, U means low pressure. From 23rd June there are tentative signs of the jet stream that provide the highs getting stronger at last (it has been so so weak) and being able to shift the blocking patterns out the way.............................. but you all know what forecasting is like and I am sure it will all look different in a few days. -

So you means pensioners as other sources of income are covered by CGT, Carbon tax and the other taxes they mentioned. The only people who would pay more are pensioners using it as income tax - are you advocating taxing pensioners - what would Sunak say!! -
Well my friends in Crete on holiday posted it was nearly 40C there. My heating came on today and I’ve been freezing in the office all day🙄 Weather at the moment is just stupid.

I hear you. There are all kind of niggles with this thing that bug me too. Don't look too closely where the curvy bits join the straight bits - you'll lose sleep! My major problem is I'm not actually a designer myself and I do it in PowerPoint lol which obviously isn't ideal. In any case, I think I'm done with it for this year - got to get the damn thing printed yet - but I might try fiddling with line thickness next year. If anyone wants to run off copies or T-shirts or what-have-you, you can download jpg, png (with transparent background) and pdf from here. If you find it helpful at all, please consider chucking some shrapnel in the Green Welfare bucket for iTHINC, the not-for-profit that runs it (and who I volunteer with), or, you could buy a raffle ticket to win the big map itself, which this year is hopefully gonna be on a shower curtain, so it's useful all year round!
